Nice thing that your area is starting to have football tournaments even if they don't have an established provincial FA there. I hope the PFF would look into this.

Tarlac has a local FA. They compete in Suzuki U-23 National Cup. Don't know about their status there. Yes people here are enjoying football. |

A 2 month old article about resurgence of Football in the province of Pampanga Football ATBP in Pampanga.Friday,Mar23, With emergence of football in hearts of Filipinos and the growing number of fans and amateur players in small leagues in Metro Manila and other provinces such as Pampanga including the cinderella run that happened on the recently concluded Asian Confederation Challenge Cup Championship last March 2012 wherein the Philippine National Football Team (Azkals) bagged the bronze medal in this recently concluded event. Pampanga Football Club (PFC) - a City of San Fernando, Pampanga based local football club recently won their 2nd place in the age groups of Under-14 football Tarlac Football School invitational match in Capas, Tarlac last March 17, 2012. They also participated in Under-12, Under 10 and Under 8 wherein they bagged the 4th place on those categories on their first tournament as team since the creation and conception of the club in 2011. For now Pampanga Football Club is undergoing training for their pre-season games on the upcoming Central Luzon Football League which will have its grand opening in Tarlac by May 13, 2012. Basta inter Brgy kayo ang Host lagi.. Anyway pero natuwa ako last time kasi tinanong ko insan at pamangkin ko kung gusto nila mag football, Oo dawtapos nagkwento sila, Meron daw Bola ng Football sa school nila may nagdonate tapos parang nagugustuhan nila laruin ito, ang ginagawa nila puro pasa pasa lang tapos sinisipa sipa lang nila sa wall wala daw kasi silang Net.. or Goal Box.. Sabi ko sa sarili ko sana magkaron ng program na maganda sa TC, basta kasi mga bata pag nadinig nila ang Azkals tuwang tuwa sila at ang kilala nila Phil and James, Ally, Neil at Caligdong.

The annual sports competition that started Sunday is hosted by the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University in Iba, Zambales. It will end on Friday. As reigning over-all cham-pions for the past 16 straight years, the BulSU Gold Gears will be challenged by athletes from Aurora State College of Technology (Ascot), Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), Bulacan Agriculture State College (BASC), Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Pampanga College of Agriculture (PAC), Tarlac State University (TSU), Tarlac College of Agriculture (TCA). Also competing are athletes from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) in Pampanga, Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU) in Zambales, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) in Bataan, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in Nueva Ecija, and the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilsCA) in Pampanga. “We are ready to defend our title because our athletes are working hard all year round,” said Dr. Mariano De Jesus, the president of BulSU. He said that BulSU owes its strong performance in the annual SCUAA-III to its sports program. Central Luzon launches own Futsal LeagueWed. Mar. 27, 2013 By John Bayarong Four of the region's top futsal teams will battle it out on the maiden edition of the Central Luzon Futsal league at the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) on April 7th, 2013. The regional league's top football clubs, Futbulakenyos of Bulacan and the Lighthouse Amihan FC (LAFC) of Olongapo City/Subic Bay, are set to renew their rivalry, this time in futsal. Futsal, the five-versus-five indoor variant of football, is usually played inside a basketball court or a gym. The league is the first of its kind in the country where all the three variants of football, association football (11vs11), Futsal (5vs5), and beach football are played on provincial representation in one league. "The Central Luzon Futsal league is a football development experiment. We are slowly gaining support. The main attraction for clubs and teams is playing multiple match days at different venues with coaches able to strategize each game," David Bayarong, league commissioner, explained. Bayarong added that teams from Central Luzon may still join the league. The Philippine Futsal Committee (PFC) expressed full support for the league. "This is a welcome development for futsal. It show that futsal is gaining headway into the various communities of the country," said Ismaeil Sedigh, chairman of the PFC and head coach of the national futsal team. This year sees the entry of two football powerhouse, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Cobras representing Nueva Ecija, and the Tarlac State University (TSU). "We are honored to host the opening of the league, our university president, Ruben Sevilleja even had the venue refurbished for the opening games," CLSU Cobra coach Francis Cruz. The futsal league format presents each match day with the all teams will play that will be hosted by the home team. Each match day is at least 10 days apart. On April 7th, teams will travel to Nueva Ecija to play the league launch in one of Central Luzon's footballing giant, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU). "This gives us the opportunity to showcase football to the community, develop a fan base, and inspire kids to play the beautiful game," Bulacan's Futbulakenyos coach Emman Robles explained. Bayarong noted that while the country is producing technically good players in the provinces, there is an observable weakness in tactics, both in players and coaching. "The coaching staff are not able to introduce tactics because most of the league, even at the adult level, are one day tournaments," he explains. Ecija's Central Luzon State University Cobras and Olongapo City/Subic
Bay's Lighthouse Amihan "Batang 'Gapo" registered convincing wins in the
Central Luzon Futsal League (CL Futsal) opener yesterday at the CLSU
gym.
The CLSU Cobras took top of the table
on goal difference with an 8-1 win over the Tarlac State University
Tigers, while the Lighthouse Amihan "Batang 'Gapo" defeated the
Bulacan's Futbulakenyos, 9-5, in a thrilling continuation of their
regional rivalry.
The CLSU cobras ended the
first half with a narrow, 2-1 lead over TSU but found its bearing in
the second half with a six-goal haul.
Allyson
Bawagan scored a hatrick, Jordan Necesito and Shripland Taksin got a
brace each while Levie Kachilei finished off with a goal. TSU's one goal
came from Emerson Mandi.
"This is a
well-deserve win for the team. It is worth the hard training and
sacrifices of our preparation for the league,” Francis Cruz, CLSU coach
said after the match. In the first game, Futbulakenyos
troubled the Lighthouse Amihan FC in the first half, exchanging a goal
for every goal to end the first half with a 2-2 score line.
The
tough Batang 'Gapo squad, however, showed its superior tactics in the
second half as team captain Emil Pellezer and Oteng Fariñas rode
roughshod over Bulacan's defenses, recording the league's first hatricks
while Willie Mediola, Daniel Jimenez, and Raymark Maliao contributed a
goal each.
"We knew they were going to
pressure us in the second half, so our coach advanced our strikers
knowing their goal was defenseless," Pellezer said after the match.
More games, more support
CLSU
president Ruben Sevilleja welcomed the teams stressing the need to
develop the sport where the Filipinos can excel at the international
stage.
"We need more tournaments like this
and public support for the teams to reach a higher level of footballing
skills. We are proud to host the CL Futsal and we need all three
variants of football--- the 11v11, futsal, and beach football, if we are
to catch up with the rest of the world," Sevilleja said in his welcome
speech.
The CL Futsal League is the only
regional 5v5 tournament in the country using sanctioned Star balls from
South Korea and under the international futsal rules of the Fédération
Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). FIFA is the world
governing body of football.
"It was a big
derby day for the region. CLSU and TSU are rival champions in the State
Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (SCUAA), while the
Futbulakenyos and the Batang 'Gapo are always clawing it out in the
regional tourneys," John Bayarong, CL Futsal league commissioner, said.
Futsal, the five-versus-five indoor variant of football, is usually played inside a basketball court or a gym.
“The

is declared as regional champions.

Subic Bay hosts Luzon beach football tourney

Apr. 19, 2013 By John Bayarong Hundreds of football players and enthusiasts will troop to Subic Bay on May 12th for the Luzon Beach Soccer Eliminations at the Lighthouse Marina Resort beach front area. Eight men's and eight women's team are set to battle it out for the right to represent Luzon at the National Beach Football title late this year. "(We have) been organizing the Luzon Beach Football Eliminations in Subic since 2000 and we consider (Subic Bay) our home already," Rea Villa, secretary general of Beach Football Association of the Philippines (BFAP), said. Raul Marcelo, deputy administrator for tourism of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) welcomes the decision of the BFAP to hold its tournament here. "Subic Bay is now a top destination for national tournaments. And football, with all its variants namely association football, futsal and beach football, are one of the sports that we want here," Marcelo said. The annual Luzon Beach Football Eliminations is an open division tournament wherein the finalists would then be invited to proceed and represent Luzon in the Beach Football National Championship scheduled later this year. Supported by the Subic Bay's Lighthouse Marina Resort, the tournament will also feature the Lighthouse Amihan Football Club (LAFC), Subic Bay's official team. The LAFC copped the silver in the 2011 edition of the tournament, and if at full strength, is expected to do well in the tournament. "The participants,mostly Manila-based teams, find it convenient to travel to Subic to play beach soccer because of improved roads, secured venue, great shopping outlets and a lot of other activities that they could do after the tournament," BFAP said in a statement. This year, BFAP said it would adopt the international beach football rules to align the tournament with the international rules and standards. BFAP was founded by Dr. Ahmed 'Mike" Athab who used to be the University of the Philippines Women's Football Varsity Coach and is the current Beach Football Committee Head of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). The Philippines participated in the 2006, 2008 and 2013 World Cup Beach Football Asian Qualifiers and is planning to prepare for the Asian Beach Games 2014 and the next World Cup Qualifier in 2015. Villa said that BFAp partnered with the Lighthouse Marina Resort because of its excellent facilities and amenities. "Its scenic view and ideal location makes it a perfect place to conduct the tournament Subic," she added. Aside from the Lighthouse resort, the tournament is supported by Human Nature.
