If only Moutinho nailed it, there could have been a different result. Also what was Bento thinking placing CR7 last to stike? If i were the manager Ronaldo's at 3rd tops, knowing it's a do or die.
*But yeah still im no way near Bento am just a passionate fan.

I think when Nani cut in on Bruno Alves who was ready to take the third kick for Portugal that may have unsettled Alves who hit the bar when it was his turn. Besides, Spain had San Iker at goal. No way Portugal was going to get through, hehe. You got to admire the b*lls of Sergio Ramos. After sending his PK towards the moon and sent Real Madrid crashing out of the UEFA Champions League semi against Bayern a few months ago, he goes on to do a panenka at a Euro semis penalty shoot-out. I have to agree on that man.. I think that unsettled Bruno Alves. Nani just barged in and took the already lining up Alves. With regards to Ramos' penalty kick, he just looked so calm and composed. I even thought he wouldn't be taking penalties yet after the CL defeat. I actually held my breath when he took the shot. Lol! Poor Ronaldo, the look on his face was just devastated. hehe I want to see a Germany-Spain Final.. ;D

San Iker man. Also, it's good to see Sergio Ramos shine in the Euros. Maybe it's the fact that Spain play with 2 DMs in the 4-6-0 (or 4-3-3 with Negredo and Torres), but he's by far the best CB in the tournament along with Hummels, which surprises me a little since he just started playing CB consistently during the 2nd half of the season this year with RM (with success too). And that panenka from a CB ololol.
I like how San Iker's GF asked Iniesta if he wanted to take a PK after the game, so he got embarrassed and told her: "Well, I actually shot the second one." I guess this shows how shy Iniesta is olol

What a brace from Balotelli! I mean, he picked the perfect timing to have a performance like that. WOW! Cassano delivered that perfect cross and Balotelli just had to score. Pirlo, man this guy is consistent.. both him and Montolivo just played really well tonight. Props to Buffon too for those timely saves. He just frustrated the Germans. I thought the Germans had this in the bag since they just dominated during the early minutes. Corners, shots on target but they just couldn't finish. It was just frustrating for them. This is gonna be an exciting Finals. If the Italians play like this during the finals, Spain's gonna be in for a surprise.. ;D

How do you get to the final of a major tournament?
The Spaniards perfect their tiki-taka after decades of development
The Germans reinvent themselves with a young team and a swashbuckling playing style.
The Italians? All they need is a match fixing scandal back home to fire them up. (Hehehe)
Anyway, this will be interesting final. Rooting for Spain but I'm a bit worried because this Spain team hasn't been playing at their best and you never count the Italians out.

I have a feeling Italy will win it tonight.. Pirlo has been playing excellent football and Balotelli has just been UNSTOPPABLE! But who knows, the odds might change. I don't want this to end up in a lottery. Penalty shoot out might be a dramatic end but its the worst way to determine the winner. May the BEST team win tonight! ;D ;D

ý2008 Euro, 2010 World Cup, 2012 Euro Champs. Congrats Spain! ! ! What a magnificent bunch of footballers. It's a previlege to watch them play great football. ;D ;D ;D tiki-taka rules ! ! ! And a brilliant display of Del Bosque's unconventional formation of 4 defenders, 6 midfielders and no striker ! ! !

What a surprise right. Spain once again have the smallest players in the tournament and convincingly win with their tiki-taka. Spain once again showed the importance of role-based play over formation-based tactics. Dunno how Del Bosque gives the team the drive to keep winning as well as keeping the Barcelona and Real Madrid players together....
