I see nardybonnevie salivating at the prospect of the azkals crashing out in Mongolia. Sa akin lang yun ha, based sa posting niya last. Glad to see the Azkals made it already to Ulan Bataar. Time to recharge and to focus on the game! I can't wait to enough for this game. If they do qualify, they go straight to MyanMar or go home to pinas first? sa tingin ko rin ;D happy sya na matalo ang AzKals. siguro basketball lover

Well it would be interesting to see how the Philippines does against Mongolia in a few days. Not only do they have to deal with subfreezing temperatures, they had to experience earthquakes while training in Japan and then had to travel by bus, train and on foot approximately 9 hours carrying their gear with them to get to Narita airport. One of them Jason Sabio, got stuck 9 hours in a plane and had to live on the floor at Narita airport with very little food for nearly 2 days all this after traveling more than half a day from the US. They are tired, exhausted and hungry, so hopefully they can get some time to rest and recharge before playing in 2 days. At least they made it safely out of Japan. The last tweet before they went to sleep at 4-5Am in the morning in Ulan Bator, is that they're luggage didn't arrive with them. Tough luck!

Beho, apology accepted. No worries.
I'd just like to make some observations. First, why are we so surprised that the Azkals lost to a Japanese school team? Didn't we get thrashed by a Thai college team in a warm-up game prior to the Suzuki Cup? Someone made a joke/comment that the next time we faced Vietnam they would be the ones parking the bus. Even though it was said in jest, we must remind ourselves that we shouldn't set our expectations too high. If we played Vietnam in an open game right now, I think we would get slaughtered. The Azkals are still very much a work in progress.
Second, let's stop this talk of us being "true" or "real" football fans in comparison to the "mindless" fans. We need to attract more fans, not alienate them. What we can do is explain the nuances and rules of the game to those who are less knowledgeable.

Pareng beho, read carefully before you comment. My second point was not meant for you but for other people. ;D
Regarding pareng nardy's comments, I agree with some of his points and disagree with the others. I definitely do not think that our team "sucks" as he said. I think our team is a rag tag bunch of brave scrappers who give their all for flag and the country. I am proud to be an Azkalero, always have been. Saying that they "suck" is downright insulting to them and the fans.

is it true that R. Jonsson is currently stranded in Beijing since his visa to Mongolia has not been processed by the PFF?
