lineup is not official, they are waiting for who will be the seniors to be plugged in. It is not obligatory to use seniors and some teams are even fielding U19 NT. If they want to use Brunei tournament to prepare for AFC U22 qualifiers in June they should field a U21 team. But it seems that thay want to use seniors also , Jerry Barboso been mentioned and maybe also Ruben Doctora JR ? I think they also plan to use Paolo Pascual and Joshua Beloya who been sitting on the benches in Qatar and Dubai. Other National Teams been releasing the list of the final 18 players for Brunei tournament, but Philippines are always late.

I am okay with using senior or slightly older players as long as they are eligible for the U-23 team to the SEA Games next year. After all, the main goal is that event, not the U-22 AFC qualifiers. Besides you can only use 3 overage players at a time, and our level of development is not the same as the more established teams like Malaysia who form age group level teams who train together at a very young age and therefore will be competitive even if they send an U-19 team.

According to the grapevine from social media, Jacques Van Bossche and Angelo Verheye are already in the PI. bigfoot confirmed that three days ago in this thread... "both have their return tickets made on march 11, so i presume they are part of the final roster . jacques left last night and will arrive in manila later today. like last year, when he was in bacolod to try out, he will celebrate his birthday this saturday away from home . angelo is there since this weekend, he needed to do some last paperwork in immigration for his passport ."
