As for Coach Weiss, as I also mentioned in the chat, his substitution patterns reflect his concern about his job security. He is trying to keep his job so he is keeping the first team on the field as long as possible. i'd have to agree w/ you on this, sir. especially now that our new u23 slavic coach is standing and watching in the sidelines

jp haha, down boy down... I really am not motivated to search for this info, but isn't Weiss' contract for 2 years? If it is, it means after the Challenge Cup it would still be almost a whole year`left? Correct me if I'm wrong please. If it IS only 1 year or he resigns, the next big question is if we can afford Coach Z? From a bio, Coach Z asked Nepal/Bangladesh(1 of those) a $1,000,000 contract for 4 years, when the country balked at the contract cost, he blasted them, calling them "mafia" and the like! But really my concern is can we afford him for a longer contract? How long did we sign him up for anyway? Sources has said he will coach the U23 in 2013 too, so does that mean we gave him a 1 year` contract already? So many questions we have, unanswered...

Kuddos to Pinoys in Doha... Families came together with their kids.Of course it helped that it is a holiday today in Doha (National Sports Day). I hope we can replicate the same amount of people watching here in Dubai. We were envious when we watched it on live stream. A lot of Pinoy groups have approached me regarding concerns with organizers. But of course we cant do something about it. The Pinoy Football Club here in Dubai made a "santi araneta"...They are selling tickets "Buy one Take one" so that lots of people will come to the game on Thurs. Hope it works. So far they have thanked me for posting it on my FB wall and on Twitter. They said it's selling like "Hot pandesal' Lol Why concerns with organizers ? Why was it only 1200 people going to th Uzbek friendly ? Hi Guys! Thank you for the warm welcome in the grp... One Media grp approached me if I can tell the organizers that they want the Team to have a dinner with Sheik Maktoum. I told them that would be great as it would boost the morale of the Team and it would help in the promotion of the tour. Plus it would be a one of a kind experience for the group. They were able to get in touch with the organizers through me but they said the organizers were uncooperative. They wanted to help in the promotion of the tour but one of the marketing guys from the organizers said they can handle it... and look at what happened...That media group told me that we will be lucky to have 1500 people in the stadium. apparently they were right... We only got 1200 people. (I think the dinner with the Sheik will push thru tonyt) The organizers didnt approached Filipino communities or group here in Dubai to help them in the promotion. They didnt even send fliers to small restaurants/supermarkets etc around the city. Before D Azkals came here (maybe 2wks before they came to camp) I gave the organizers several areas eg shops/resto/supermarket that there will be lots of Filipino people. I even went to one big supermarket chain here and tried to do get them to sponsor the event as well. Promotion is the problem thats why not much people came to the 1st friendly. We are trying our best to get as much as many people we can get on the last friendly. I hope our efforts will be successful. Azkals really need fan support whenever they have games. Fans are like fuel to their soul...Naks!

That kind of feeling when you see a foreign stadium (foreign soil) packed with Filipinos -- priceless. Back to a much hotter topic: shawnjoie today's the first time i heard my heart beat and it skipped one. Yeah! ;D ;D ;D

2m night pala game nila. sana gumanda na resulta nila BASIC INFO: Al-Ahli SC is currently 12th place out of 12 in Qatar Stars League They have losing streaks and a candidate for relegation. HOPE THEY WIN. IF THEY LOSE, Bahala na kung anu judgement nio kay Weiss. 2012 GAMES (Total Games = 3) Win 0 Draw 0 Loss 3 We still have no win for this year. Pag 5 losing streak na tayo wala na Weiss should now be replaced, just my opinion I agree about replacing Weiss but now is not the right time to that with the team preparing for the Challenge cup... if we wanted to get rid of coach weiss it should been earlier... ;Dwhy put the blame on weiss, does the pff have the financial capalities to hire a better coach at much a higher cost? ;D

It was a mix of their first and second team and they mixed their offence but it didn't get past the back 4. Juan's strength and positioning was useful with the opposing Advanced Forward and Sabio's tackling(timing and decision) is great. The passes (even the long ones) yesterday were good to have higher completion rate. Good job, Philippines! Kinda' off-topic: Hey look.. This is the French coach of Al Ahli (Simondi Bernard) - 3rd from right. lol ;D ;Dthanks but no thanks.... ;D
