Good win but looking back the late goal by HK on the first game was definitely a killer.

LOL ;D FULLTIME: 2-0 Macau improved(reason as usual) or did we regress i thought we would be raining goals since we are "stringing wonderful passes". What happen to the "We are a better attacking team now "? Expecting another round of negative karma from Weiss huga-babes

We should be slaughtering Macau, even with most of our ideal lineup missing. No excuses.
And that would be (on my count) the fifth time Chieffy's efforts gave us a win (or upset draw). Someone should rename an elementary school in Barotac Nuevo after him!

In the 3 games that we played, it was chieffy who made things interesting for the Azkals.
and JYH as usual, was a workhorse!

I hope the game of HK and CT will not end in a draw, so we'll end up in second place with 5pts. If its a draw, will end up 3rd. (pls correct me if im wrong).. nyahh! it does not matter anyway. what time is the replay? inabutan ko na lang po kase yung highlights & final stats...bad stream pa; 27 shots with 10 on target... sayang hindi man lang naging 4-0. thanks Chieffy your the MOTM!

Had we started with Chieffy? What could have been, eh? Well, good play from the U23 pups. Again midfield is where we are strongest. Just don't have the finishing quality. Phil would have 3 defenders on him often. Backline was rarely tested and sometimes beaten but Muller did a great job as usual. I wish Phil would have been a bit more selfish and struck hard on first or second touch. But in fairness to him he does look at all his options while on excess dribbling. What's with our strikes sailing over the bar so much? Kinda reminds me of the last world cup. Are they using a Jabulani ball? Haha. (excuses)

Can anyone update us with the HK vs Taiwan game/score?
Still a chance we can climb up higher in the standings. Either way we were 1-1-1 last year, we are 1-0-2 now, thats an improvement. Plus, I hope we realize we had U23 players in the squad too. Soccer is not Basketball change comes more slowly, relax Jabronies, its a long road but we're pointed the right way.
The post game people said something too that was very interesting. While all the Chinese teams used the flop(or whatever you call it in "pure" soccer term), the Philippines never did. When you had Chinese faces looking constipated on the pitch and 1 minute later start running the whole length of the pitch at full speed our boys bounced back up in a second. No "weak sauce" acting job for our boys.

Thanks gentlemen!
I think the Taiwanese might have "shot their bolt" when they played us and have nothing left. If this continues we might see 2nd Place!!
