The possible suspensions for Schrock and Aly aren't clear yet. I hope it is reset because this is a unique situation. They will play against Kuwait, who didn't play like the Azkals did because of seeding. To impose a yellow card accumulation suspension would be unfair to us because Kuwait's players played no game and do not run the risk of getting any suspensions and can therefore field a full team. Being lower seeded means we play an extra qualifying round to Kuwait, but it would be unsporting and too much of a disadvantage for us to have a weakened team due to yellow card suspensions because we had to play an extra qualifying round while Kuwait did not. That's just my opinion of course. kuwait didn't played any matches yet, because they are higher ranked and so they are seeded. and why it should be a unique situation? we will see if schröck needs 2 or 3 yellow cards, i am also not 100% sure.

Unique in the sense unlike group stages, everyone gets to play and thus have equal opportunities to accumulate yellow cards. In this AFC qualifying rounds, seeded teams play in later rounds. They haven't played and therefore they haven't had opportunity to accumulate a yellow card/s, our team has and did. Don't know, doesn't seem fair to me. It's like being placed in further disadvantage just because you are lower ranked, unless that is how the authorities interpret fair play. Stacking the odds against the lower ranked team. Again, that's just my opinion. Rules are rules, of course.

PFF goal in WC qualifiers : to pass through first round that is the two leg series against Sri Lanka. . . So, it's mission accomplished, the outcome beyond that is just a bonus. . . win or loss against Kuwait doesn't matter as reaching in second round alone is a milestone of Philippine football. . .Mabuhay, Azkals! ! !

^ Winning and losing actually matters. If we win, then it's a new milestone. EPIC! If we lose, then the number of goals we concede and score can tell us how far the team is at this stage in its development— and of course, how mature the fans have gone.

While I can commend PFF for having clear goals/target but still should exceed their expectation and aim higher foresights. Not that I'm saying that we should win the World Cup. PFF must make sure they will sustain Football development in the country. They should make sure that, whether we win or lose against Kuwait, the Football passion is still there and the support for football is still there. DECS and PSC must also give PFF it's support in order to fully resurrect football in the Philippines afterall, football is a very "powerful" team sport as it has the influence in binding an entire country to unity. PFF should not be complacent after some few victories. There's so much work to be done to improve Philippine football.

according to @cedelfpt Schrock and Aly are eligible for first leg vs Kuwait. Cathy Rivilla, an AFC match com, said yellow cards aren't carried over to next round
This is definitely a good news!

I saw Angel Locsin during the game!
Is this why Phil Younghusband was so good during the game?

I saw Angel Locsin during the game! Is this why Phil Younghusband was so good during the game? Your guess is as good as mine .... anyway the azkals played well .... konteng good connections pa sana they sill have lapses and miscommunication but more friendlies pa with european clubs lang muna. if only they can play more games together they will be fun to watch ... they are almost playing good football now with interchanging positions parang nanonood lang ako ng Santos or Barca? hehehehe
