Here are the AFC Challenge Cup rules for tiebreakers:
Regulation 19 - Technical Rules for Competition ... e) In the league system the ranking in each group is determined as follows: i. Greater number of points obtained in all group matches; ii. If two or more Teams are equal on the basis of the above criterion, their place shall be determined as follows: A) Greater number of points obtained in the group matches between the Teams concerned; B) Goal difference resulting from the group matches between the Teams concerned; C) Greater number of goals scored in the group matches between the Teams concerned; D) Goal difference in all the group matches; E) Greater number of goals scored in all the group matches; F) Kicks from the penalty mark if only two Teams are involved and they are both on the field of play; G) Fewer score calculated according to the number of yellow and red cards received in the group matches; (please see Appendix 2) H) Drawing of lots
So it's Points (i) then HTH (ii - A,B,C) then Overall GD (ii - D, E) then Penalties is possible (ii - F) then Discipline (ii - G) then Luck (ii - H)

Isn't it "2012" Challenge Cup? Anyway, it's a bit weird that the host nation is not yet determined. It's gonna be one of the 8 qualified nations, right? Admittedly, we're not yet ready. India and Sri Lanka hosted last 2 editions. North Korea and Palestine must be out of discussion. Afghanistan (if they qualifies) won't be considered either. Then Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Maldives, Nepal (if they qualifies) left. I think it's gonna be Maldives because, though they're a very small nation with only 400K ppl, they're probably the most football-loving country among Challene Cup participants and i bet they want to host more than any other possible nations. And actually i hope they do, cuz it's much better for Azkals to play under tropical weather than in Turkmenistan or Tajikistan. lol Plus Maldivian crowds know how to enjoy football.

We are 2nd on group A. 1. Are we going to play the top team on group B or group D? 2. Or will they make a draw for the 8 remaining spots
group d matches did not start yet.

^ It starts from group rounds again. 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups Group A : 4 teams (round-robin, top 2 teams advance) Group B : 4 teams A1 vs B2 / B1 vs A2 - Semifinals (single match) The Final (single match) And the groupings will be made by draw. I'm not sure though if they will seed some teams before drawing. If not, the best grouping for Azkals i can think of is like
Philippines Maldives Palestine Afghanistan/Nepal/Sri Lanka (one of 3 who will advance from upcoming qualifier Group D along with 99% certain North Korea)
And the worst result for Azkals is
Philippines Turkmenistan India or Tajikistan North Korea
Wow.. this seems really tough

Looking forward to seeing the Azkals go against N. Korea (if they go through). It will be tough obviously, but it will be a great experience for our team, win or lose. We'll also get to gauge where we stand against the stronger sides.

If we play NK and beat them, that would be one of the biggest upsets in football history.
