Araneta pa rin. ;Dso you think araneta pa rin bukas? ;D Dapat kasi anybody but Araneta but the others are either old and banged up(Barsales) or new and unproven(Espinosa and Tuason) so maybe Ian will be given chance # 10 tomorrow. ;D We will see.

Caligdong will be a better option upfront than Ian Araneta..

Palestine are tall. They even have black players. Palestine has a good credential. i think FC Barcelona had a exhibition game against them and the score is just 1-0. And Palestine has beaten allot of top ranks teams in the past.

Actually Palestine haven't won a competitive international game in nearly 5 years until they beat Bangladesh and Myanmar this week. Israel won't release their players and they have a hard time getting players released from their clubs abroad as well.
I suggest you read the preview of Palestine at the beginning of this thread.

I'm watching the game now on Studio 23, half-time break pa. The Knights dominated possession and had better chances, they hit the crossbar on the 17th and 37th minute. The 2nd attempt so startled Neil that he jumped awkwardly backward into the net, sumabit tuloy at na-injure. The defense is porous and flaccid.

Very physical ung play ng palestine...

Definitely not the best game for Lucena but he did fairly well. He was solid most of the time although he lost possession a few times in critical places but still he did well. I think Lucena's best position for the Azkals will be the Holding Midfielder role. With Angel, it was a pity that he didn't have much support in Attack.

It is a great experience to play against a very physical team.

Just saw the highlights on youtube.
As for Neil, I hope he learned the lesson of never, ever to be confident enough to be caught too far off his line. I'm glad the almost halfline kick didn't make it in the goal, but had it gone in it would've defined Neil for many years.
The tackles were hard, but that's what football is about. I just wish I could've seen extended highlights. Can anyone post them on youtube?
