Is the pitch regulation sized? It could just be me, but it looks a bit small.

ph.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/thepassionatefan/inside-the-philippine-sports-stadium-our-new-football-174618095.htmlCapacity 25000. Field dimensions measures approx. 68 X 105 m acc. to the article, which is within the FIFA recommended dimensions. It is meant to be multipurpose with athletic events like track and field to be hosted as well. More photos on the link above. It looks like we will finally have a stadium to be proud of. With this stadium, I think more professional clubs and national FA teams will be encouraged to arrange friendlies in the Philippines. The only thing they need to prove is that they can attract enough paying fans(especially traveling fans from the NCR) to the stadium to make it worthwhile for this other teams to come.

"The PFF president also revealed that should the Azkals reach the semifinals of the ASEAN championship, a home game in the new Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan, is possible." ph.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/t...ificial-pitch-football-royalty-233913308.htmlI think this is a good idea. Because of the novelty of the stadium, a lot of fans will travel to the stadium to witness an event like the Suzuki Cup semifinals. And I am sure people from the surrounding regions will want to see what this new stadium will be about, so I think they can easily fill it. Besides, since the PFF will be hosting the Suzuki Cup Final group stage in 2016, I am sure they would like to show off the new venue to AFF officials.

If and when the Azkals gets to the semi finals. After a poor showing against Thailand I don't want to get my hopes high.
