and there were pictures shown. Phil said it is a "blue", artificial, and FULL-SIZED pitch. he didn't say the specifics but it should be bigger compared on the pitch at the Empy or the same size as on the pitch at FEU. I believe I saw bleachers also constructed. could someone show some pics?

Demmit, I tried to enter the Circuit Makati to see the blue pitch, but the guards at the entrance said it's by invitation only.

While I appreciate there being another pitch for football (and one big enough for international matches), the blue color makes it ineligible for AFC-sanctioned international matches, right?

Based on AFC Stadia Regulations for ACL & AFC Cup, Section 2, Chapter 1:
b) Artificial turf must meet the following condition: i. It must have been granted the required FIFA licence, which can only be delivered after the turf in question has been tested by a FIFA-accredited laboratory as meeting the FIFA quality standards for artificial turf;
ii. Its surface must be green.
Yikes.
If they won't allow blue pitches for AFC Club competitions, what more for NT competitions? So most probably, the pitch will only be used for training and academy. Aww sayang.

Aww sayang. It has been very long said that this will obviously be used exclusively for the Chelsea Soccer School. Wala na kayong mawa dyan. And I already renamed the thread as such.
