That makes sense macduff. Why couldn't the PFF just say it or come out with something to cushion the whole mishap? It's not like they have 200 cases pending on top of this one. Talk to the kids maybe, or the parents, etc? Nobody picked up a phone? Text? Email? These are great inventions by the way. Why couldn't Coach Nerras "take care" of these before they got out of hand? Waiting for the media to get a hold of these supposedly internal things just exacerbated the whole situation.

-You are talking about a soccer crazed Mexican nation that fully support their national team financially, both by the public or private sectors. Nope. Mexican football is funded completely by the private sector. Women's football is no business for anybody so it's ignored, hence why we have to rely on Mexican Americans. Now with the money the FMF gets from the friendlies in the US our youth men's national teams and the women's sides get some funds, but before the early 2000s they strugled to get even kits for the full teams (and we're talking about a very "rich" federation).

In Canada and the USA their WNT gets more funding than the men. And they have the Olympic medals to show for it.
