Here's a pic of Michael Kempter: Third from left sitting. I believe transfermarket is wrong concerning his height. He plays for the U21 team of FC Zurich, FC Zurich II. His team plays in the 3rd tier of Swiss football, one level below where Roland Muller plays at.

I saw one of the links and I saw flag of Phils(that he posted). Which is a good sign that he is proud of his roots(filipino) and he maybe interested in playing for us. He will be a good u-23 material. PFF should take a look at this guy.

Just turned 22 last January 12, played in 4 match in the last 7 games of FC Zurich, including 3 matches were he played the entire match. FC Zurich is in the Swiss Challenge league, 2nd tier of Swiss Football but they might get promoted for the Super League for the next season as they're currently leading the Challenge League.

I saw his IG stories when they visited the FIFA headquarters, wherein he took a pic of Azkals Kit (the Puma one), so I ask him if he is open in playing for the Azkals in the future, He replied with Emojis of Praying and said that "He hopes so too". 183cm plays LB, have been a regular in the starting 11 for the last part of their season. looks like he will be the mainstay for them when they get a promotion to Swiss Superleague next season.

Scott Cooper recently confirmed in Across the Line podcast that he has acquired his Filipino passport and FIFA approval. So he should be eligible in the next National team match.
Among those confirmed are: Jesse Curran (acquired passport but not FIFA approved) Niko De Vera (acquired passport) Jefferson Tabinas (acquired passport) Jesper Nyholm (interested) Gerrit Holtmann (spoken to agent and is interested in the national team) Raphael Obermair (close to acquiring passport)

After long wait to suit up, Kempter wants to be Azkals’ leader By: Cedelf P. Tupas - 2 days ago It took Filipino-Swiss defender Michael Kempter almost two years to finally get his clearance to play for the Philippines, and he finally got the green light to do so, his supposed debut against Guam last March did not push through as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic stopped the joint Fifa World Cup and the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Kempter, who plays for Swiss Super League powerhouse FC Zurich, admits that the long wait has served as added motivation as he looks to help the Azkals reach the third round of the qualifying tournament. “You can expect that I want to be a leader,” the 25-year-old Kempter told the Inquirer. “I want to play more in possession, not just defending. But also if we have to fight, we will fight together. I think with my quality, we can play more football from the back to attack and not just put the ball forward.” Kempter has long been a target of Azkals management, but it wasn’t until two years ago when the former Swiss U-21 player decided to represent his mother’s country. He is one of several players tipped by coach Scott Cooper to strengthen the team that has big ambitions over the next two years. sports.inquirer.net/397472/after-long-wait-to-suit-up-kempter-wants-to-be-azkals-leader/amp
