With the rise of football's popularity in our motherland, I think the PFF logo needs to be revised. When comparing ours with the football logos from other countries, the PFF's logo looks "amateurish" and very dated. I cringe everytime I see it because I know we can do better. Although there has been minor revisions, it's still dated. I presume this logo was created when the federation was founded. I think it's about time we update and modernize it by making it look more attractive. Obviously, we have the creativity and talent to produce appealing logos which is evidenced by the many Azkal logos out there, including my avatar. What do you guys think? I realize the PFF logo is the least of our worries when many more important matters needs our attention. However, our logo is a representation of our football federation and it's our national brand. Here's a link to the logos of other federations for comparison. www.google.com/search?q=football+federation+logos&espv=210&es_sm=93&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=Y0sjU8yLMZTcoATF9ICIDA&sqi=2&ved=0CEAQ7Ak&biw=1112&bih=555

As a non Filipino I think the PFF logo is ok, it doesn't stand out but doesn't look bad thought.

For me the logo is OK. I love the classic touch similar to those with long and established footballing traditions

I agree with orwat. I like the classic touch in the pff logo, indicating that Philippine football has a long history. i like the logo as a whole actually. imho

I actually don't think it looks "classic" enough. I'd prefer to have a shield or coat-of-arms instead of the current round logo. Like those of Spain, Brazil, and Argentina. Considering we're in a football renaissance, it wouldn't be unheard of to change the logo. That being said, I definitely prefer our logo over that of the USA. So it's not too bad.

Yeah, logo seems dated and lacks character. Im in favor of coming up with new option designs to replace it.

Yeah, logo seems dated and lacks character. Im in favor of coming up with new option designs to replace it. PFF Logo is ok. There's no need to change. BUT, take note that some NT don't use their federation logo in their kits. Ex. Are indonesia and spain in which they use a logo much closer to their nation's coat of arms. Indonesia use the garuda logo different to the PSSI logo. So what's plausible is we use other logo, the phil. coat of arms perhaps and the PFF logo stays the same.

Sure........ Maybe we can use an eagle as a symbol and call the national team Philippines Eagles? !?!?! THIS!!!! However, it couldn't be anymore ironic coming from you!!! When I tried to start a thread about changing the MNT nickname to Philippine Eagles (or something similar), the first person to reply was you, and you shot it down while trying to be sarcastic. Now this. LOL!!! Anyway, it should be changed. It's so bland, boring and stuck in 80's (or maybe even the 90's). It's just a slightly revised version of the first logo when the PFF became the PFF. Lots of FA's in the world have changed their logo in the last five years or so alone. The likes of Nepal, Saudi Arabia, China, Afghanistan, Tanzania and the latest Kyrgyzstan to name a few off the top of my head. In fact I quite like Kyrgyzstan's new logo and if the PFF changed theirs and had the Philippine Eagle, Kyrgyzstan's could be an inspiration.

Having the Philippine Coat-of-Arms on our kits instead of the PFF logo would be pretty darn cool! Gilas uses a simple logo that I wouldn't mind adopting. I think Australia also have a different logo on their kits (the one with a Kangaroo and Koala? Not sure). I preferred the USA's Centennial logo last year over the US Soccer shield. Anyways, yeah, if the PFF want to keep their logo, that's fine, but let the NT use a different one.

The logo for the US is the eagle on the left. Our founding fathers(post WWII) wanted to include the 2 major influences(US and Spain) in modern Philippine society in the national seal.
