SpVgg Greuther Fürth: FK Dukla Prague 4: 1 (2: 0)
The SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the first Test match as part of training camp with 4: 1 by set to FK Dukla Prague. The shamrock was able to prevail and clearly deserves with goals from Schröck, Gießelmann, Baba and an own goal.
The shamrock took over from the first minute of the game. Prague on the other hand acted out on the defensive, waiting for the error Shamrock Elf. Such a configuration error led for example to the first opportunity of the game. Cajic came to the ball and fired from, but next to the gate. On the other hand, the defense of FK Dukla Prague cleared a cross into the utmost distress, just before the bullet prepare Kacper Przybylko. Following Marco Stiepermann had a chance shot, but the ball went but clearly on the box. In return, Tom Mickel could distinguish, as the Shamrocks keeper with a great parade held off a Prague-shot. In the 22nd minute the bell rang but then on the right page. Marco Stiepermann entered the dangerous free kick in front of the box and the Prague defender Vorel came with the head just so on the ball that he abfälschte him into his own goal.
Following Florian Trinks had a shot opportunity after Kacper Przybylko set the scene for a good midfielder in winning the ball. But the 2: 0, there were "only" 39 minutes. Stephan Schrock, the durchtankte well at the box edge and laid down and let the Prague keeper no chance. So it went with the 2: 0 Pausenstand in the cabin.
With ten changes, this time interfered coach Frank Kramer to break vigorously, Fürth came back on the lawn. It did not take long until the new team got used to the green. Immediately after the restart put Ognjen Mudrinski the ball heavily on Abdul Rahman Baba from which could only be stopped with a foul. So it was from a promising position for the free kick for Shamrock. Niko Gießelmann changed this in the 50th minute to 3: 0th Following twice attended Thomas Pledl for risk for Prague housing. First, with a bicycle kick, then with a pass, which the goalkeeper could only be clarified with great difficulty to the corner. Another free-kick slammed Ognjen Mudrinski from around 30 meters at goal, this time the Czech keeper could only just clarify that. Then the FK Dukla came again before the Fürth housing. A shot from a very short distance got to hand Benedict Röcker, which was, however, applied to the body. The referee showed nevertheless to the point. Tomas Berger did not miss the chance and scored the 1: 3. After the game was already out very intensively was even harder. With the increased pace of the guests in single combat the referee had several problems. For the Referee Abdul Rahman Baba whistled back, which was actually on the way to free the target. An offense was not to be seen from the stands. But the Ghanaians it settled in the 86th minute then no longer take to sign also on the scoresheet. After a great run of Thomas Pledl and an equally beautiful edge, Baba came in the penalty area the ball and headed the gaming device into the goal. So for the Shamrock entourage went with a deserved 4: 1 success back to about an hour away Mühldorf, where continued to work hard in training camp yet until Tuesday.

Not sure about Rob Gier... Rob did say it somewhere that he's "part-time" with Ascot and full-time with the national team. To add: At least Martin Steuble gets leveled up and is now in MLS.

Neil needs to get out of England and come to Asia. He will never get a real chance with a decent outfit there. Yeah, he is on trial with QPR. Are they going to sign him? Probably not. They just signed Alex McCarthy from Reading. They have former Rep. or Ireland International, Brian Murphy, as the Number 2. They just loaned Joe Lumley to the Conference. And Robert Green, no matter how ty he plays, will stay the starter. Redknapp will never, and THE ROCK MEANS NEVER, give Neil the right time of day between the sticks for QPR.
Look, I want Neil to succeed. I really do. But he needs to get real. Why does he not go north to Scotland? Or west to Wales to play in the Welsh league. He has a far better chance with clubs in those parts of the Empire rather than in England itself. But, I really believe that he will do his career a world of good if he came to Asia and played in the Chinese League, the TPL or the V-League. The UFL would be too much of a drop for him. Those leagues will respect his 40 caps, and he will start for most teams in those leagues.
