Definitely have to get a strong team. If we get Guam, all due respect, we won't be tested enough. I think guam is getting stronger though. With AJ delagarza from la galaxy and a couple of players from uslpro. And also the fact that they always compete in EAFF. Which includes top tier teams Japan, China, N.Korea and S. Korea. I think they will be the team to watch for in the coming years.

I was watching the news last night(ABS-CBN) and they had a long Azkal feature regarding the coming Peace Cup. Apparently not only Chieffy is back in the Azkal pool but also Aly Borromeo.
Yes it's been a while for him but at least between Aguinaldo, Lucena, del Rosario and Borromeo plus that Silva(?) guy the state of our CB's isn't a concern as it was in the last regime when our back up was Margarse, etc.
Depth is always good.

Looking at our huge Azkal pool now I'm glad that we finally have a coach who's taking the time to really look in depth at our local or locally based players more closely.
It's also great that our Peace Cup is getting tougher and tougher teams. Who knows, it may be the type of competition that SEA teams would love to be invited too! And from a basketball nation to boot!
Beat Palestine!!
