Defensive mistakes cost Global big time.

So I just replied in the Patrick Deyto thread to a claim that he should be dropped by Global and the Azkals.
Here's my view on why South China's crushing defeat put Global in their place and Global will have to look long and hard at their defending, not their keeper as to why they lost this game so badly.
I could explain to you just how bad this Global defence was for most of these goals, and other than the first goal, Deyto was not really to blame.
Goal 1 - Deyto should have cleared the ball much better and quicker than he did. (I have no idea why he put the ball down when there was a player right by him).
Goal 2 - Amani Aguinaldo (Number 12) is a good young defender but he needs to look at this one and realise he made a mistake. Why on earth is he heading to the line and leaving a man free in the middle of the box? He soon realises his mistake but by this time the ball is already cut back and the man he left doesn't get the ball but there needs to be much better communication here.
There's enough Global players in the box to deal with this. The one thing that is really bad here is at 0:24 seconds. I'm not sure which player it is, but he should never be beaten this easily. He was always going to try and get to the byline and this is where he should stand strong and not let his man past him. Once he does get beaten, his teammate, Sato (11) MUST go to challenge the player, do not let that ball get pulled back. He doesn't and the rest is history.
Goal 3- Amani again is at fault. He is trying to predict where the cross will go and takes a step forward leaving his man and putting all of his weight on the wrong side. He can't get back to challenge for the ball and an easy header is made. The problems don't stop there..
Barbaso is ball watching! He is not picking up anyone, but he is not in a bad position, he in fact is in a good position to clear the ball once Deyto made the initial save, he doesn't react quick enough and the striker pokes the ball in.
Goal 4- No one is stopping that free kick
Goal 5 - this is too easy for South China. Maybe a language problem for Raul Martinez here because a player of his quality should not be losing a fifty-fifty challenge so easily, he must not have been given a shout that there was a man on. Daisuke Sato's (11) ball watching is criminal here. He MUST run with the runner, he is clearly staring at the ball and not realising a man is charging through his defence.
If he goes with the man, they don't score, it's as simple as that.
Goal 6 - schoolboy defending. Why is there two men trying to challenge the same player? Just let one person hold him up. Amani (12) should drop off here, his teammate is closer to the player and has tracked back well, there is no need for him to be there and could make himself far more useful in the middle of the box where he could have cleared the ball once the delivery came in.
Sato again could have done much better, instead of worrying about giving away a handball if the player shoots, why not try and stop him shooting? He had plenty of time to make the player either rush his shot or not get his shot away.
I'm not trying to slate Global's defence, i'm just trying to find mistakes which they can improve on.
