Rizal stadium needs mega overhaul. It would be better if it will be demolished and create a new 50-60,000 seater stadium in the site. The government should realize that investing to projects like this is feasible and profitable. After all, it is our national stadium for God's sake. If they will act as early as now, I think they can complete it in 2 years right in time for the next AFF Suzuki Cup. flor030 Dude, we should not base Indonesia's economy on their monetary's exchange rate with our currency. Instead, we should base it on their GDP which is higher than ours although dividing their GDP to their population leads to low per capita. As in low! Hehe But who cares? They're a football mad country so whatever it takes their government and private sector will invest to it. If we have indoor stadiums in every province of the Philippines, Indonesia on the other hand have big football stadiums.

Of course, we are not discounting food and education. But as I said, we all have to realize that this project is feasible and profitable for the government. And this will only put football to a whole new level in this country.

yes..guys.. mag kakaroon ng laban ulit ang Azkals para sa qualifying rounds for the AFC Challenge Cup 2012..Ang AFC Challenge Cup ay laban ng mga low ranking football team in Asia.. It will be a home and away basis..so isang laban ay napin sa Pilipinas in February 2011. Then the Philippines is eyeing for the 2012 Suzuki Cup in which qualified na tayo. By this.. sana I prepare na ng gobyerno ang possible stadiums na pwede...most likely the Panaad in Bacolod and the very old Rizal Memorial Stadium...suportahan natin ang football mania sa bansa natin....

I think sure na, na may isang home game na lalaruin dito sa Philippines this February for the AFC Challenge Cup against Mongolia. However, the PFF is requesting the AFC to play both games here in the Philippines because the temperature in Mongolia is below freezing or something like that. The game against Mongolia is a two legged affair too.

Local government should also show interest/bid so they get the rights to host the game. It will add revenue to their city if they can host a game. Industry on almost all sector will gain something from this.
