It's going to be in Panaad. Rizal isn't ready. Confirm your source...otherwise don't make such a statement! You can call PFF to ask. That's what I did. Do you need the number? Also, it was all over the papers yesterday. You can check the link below. There's not even a mention of Rizal as a probable venue. www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=645088&publicationSubCategoryId=69Now, tell me about your source when you said 'it starting to look more like Rizal Memorial Stadium will be the venue of the Feb. 9th game'.

No, I don't...I have their number but no one seem to answer when I tried to call...I have no source, I was just saying most likely at Rizal based on the activities I've see on the field lately but not 100% sure either...

What have you seen so far in Rizal? If you can take pic and upload it. It would be nice to see the progress.
Anyone up for a meet on the 9th before the game? Any good watering holes in Bacolod near Panaad?

A relative was able to book roundtrip for Php999.

kodamarancher: know the clubs the players belong to. search on the internet the official sites of these clubs or of the leagues. check out match schedules and the possible players who play in these matches (schedule rarely change but the player line-up does) here is where you can watch the games: for english premier league and asian leagues, watch espn and star sports. go to internet to check out the tv schedule and what matches they will show for bundesliga and la liga, sometimes solar sports show it we do have local clubs but matches are not aired. you have to go to the field to watch them. sometimes studio 23 shows the uaap matches.

hi everyone...I went home in Bacolod last Christmas vacation and my High School reunion was held in a pool side area in Panaad and I take time to see the stadium..... I think its ready compare to Rizal Memorial Stadium..FYI...Bacolod is served by 4 airlines flying daily such as PAL, Airphil, Cebu Pacific and Zest Air..and lots of affordable and clean hotels scattered in the city.

If you're arriving the day of the match, take into account that the new airport is quite far compared to before. there's a 1-2 hour land travel to the heart of Bacolod City now. Not sure how that distance relates to Panaad though, having never been there. I could be wrong though, I fell asleep during the commute.

Ive read somwhere that Pres.Araneta went to Doha(was it Doha?) for the meeting and on that trip he will also talk to AFC officialls so a local Teli can air the games for the Challange Cup. If he gets a go signal, then a local channel can air the games live. No further update in this yet.
