We all know that Global cannot win the title. The goal is to make it to the group stage of the AFC Champions League, and allow Loyola Sparks to be in the AFC Cup. Having 3 teams in the AFC tournaments could have been a great accomplishment for the UFL(PFL). i think global did everything within their capability to win that game unfortunately they lost to a superior team period.. dont blame global for losing they tried thier best.. The post was not intended to blame the players. The post is to establish the mission of the team. If I have to blame somebody for losing 6-0, I would blame the coach. He came in very unprepared considering the score (goals @12@26,@30,@35 before HT). He should have known he's up against a better team, with a team on his 1st yr. up against weak opponents in the UFL and playing away from home. He should have watch all the game videos of the other team and his team, and realized that his defense is relatively weak. He must come up with a strategy to increase his chances. i.e. "park the bus" formation 5 5 to get a 0-0 score at FT/OT, then try to win it at PK where anything goes. If you watch the FA cup, a lot of teams do this when up against a formidable opponent.

In a roar Brisbane Roar upset Shanghai Shenhua 2-0. after all, 6-0 Global FC defeat is not that bad for a less than a million $ team.

Muangthong is killing it in the ACL, looks like a semifinal finish for this ASEAN side after a long very time. I can't wait for a PFL side to get this far in the ACL soon.
