He may be a good striker but I think he's even better as a winger. --yes definitely... i believe in his capacity of doing any of those roles metioned. plus Team work of course. -let's wait for coach weiss final decision as to the task for chieffy caligdong.

3-4 years ago he was fast. He lost his speed but ball handling and composure is still there. If your a winger and you lost speed, people can notice it more compared if you play the middle. yah CF or ST can be a good position for him.

i believe Caligdong can sprint compared to anyone else in the team at this point.. Sprinting is one of the best factors to become a striker for you to break the defense of your opponent which Caligdong can do.
If you can sprint very well. you don't need a sturdy body or a great skill in dribbling. If you can receive long ball and through pass very well then strike.
You'll be a good striker! just like the potential of Caligdong.
Amen!

caligdong was coach weiss' unofficial man of the match during the 1st leg. chieffy will be back at the position where the coach think he will be most effective, the left wing. he is untouchable at that position........FOR NOW.

Caligdong should be triead as an attacking midfielder since he got the skills in ball control and accurate passing which could be the source of pass through for the stikers and with his speed and agility he can also creat goal oppurtunities for himself like Gerrard and Lampard or Kaka.. *Does chieffy have a good shoot from the distance? This would make him a perfect attacking midfielder like the 3 players mentioned above

I think Chieffy can be played as a striker on a case by case basis. If we need someone to break the opponents offside trap, I think he is the guy because of his speed. Like Inzaghi or Eto'o type of player.

Chieffy is a natural midfielder. he is a sprinter. if you are a midfielder you are fast and well skilled in ball handling. He is comfortable being a midfielder. He is also a midfielder during his highschool days in barotac nuevo. dati kasi ang play kick kick and run. sisipain ng defensive midfielder ng malakas ang bola din tatakbuhin ni chieffy. I compare chieffy as ronaldinho and elmer bedia local

I actually think what makes Caligdong is his touch. He's fast, but he also knows how to dribble through people. He's just raw IMO. Also, he reminds me of Messi, except without the Messi brain. He would function well as the CAM of a 4-2-3-1, but Angel Guirado has that position.

Nope, He actually reminds me of Roberto Carlos of Brazil. Who is small but very fast and strong. i hope Caligdong focus playing on the side to make passes towards the center.

Messi, Giggs, Roberto Carlos...My goodness, this thread is getting embarrassing. Well I'm not saying that he is as good as Roberto Carlos, but I think he plays the same position and he also runs and fast and very physical.

carlos played as an attacking leftback, chieffy is halfback/winger.
