The only medal that the RP has ever won at the Olympics was by a woman. The best chance that the RP has for medals in the AFF and SEA Games football is with woman's football. Maybe Filipino men don't care about women's football, but in the USA, Mia Hamm is the best known American football player. We can continue to "waste time and money" on trying to get the Azkals into the top 150 in the world but it makes a lot more sense to let the women bring home the medals. Of course both teams should be funded. It is a shame that women's sport has to suffer because men control the money.

I posted that already. Those are not AFC competitions but are for the ARAFURA games a multisport competition in Australia. ;D But the title is indeed misleading as we are now competing in the AFC Challenge Cup, an AFC event at the senior level, just not at youth competitions. I just wanted to clarify. I think the new PFF admin has done a good job overall. I was just giving a suggestion so let us not magnify the situation okay. They do have a full plate in their hands and in many cases starting from scratch. So let us be patient.

Nope, We didn't enter that either. The AFC Olympic qualifiers have already started. That was the call of the previous administration.
