Jerry Lucena is here in the Philippines actually having a vacation. In his facebook status he mentioned about Plantation Bay in Cebu being a very nice place.. If Lucena is in the Philippines. can we expect him to be in Manila for the We Believe Campaign on the 10th? or Will he go with the team for their flight to Germany?

According to Cdelf Tupas from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Jerry Lucena will join the Azkals training camp on June 16. By then it'll only be Dennis Cagara and of course Paul Mulders who's not with the team since Stephan Schrock is already training now with the Azkals.

Jerry Lucena played in club’s friendly defeatManila, JUNE 30 (Sugod.com) – Fiilipino international Jerry Lucena played full 90 minutes during AGF Aarhus 1-2 friendly defeat to AC Horsens on Wednesday, according to a report from agffodbold.dk. The 30 year old midfielder recently came back from a slight foot injury and was unable to play for the Philippines in their 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka. In an article at malaya.com.ph last June 13, Azkals team manager Dan Palami said that he may play in the return leg in Manila. It would be a good news for the Southeast Asian nation if the experienced midfielder will be available for their next international match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on July 3 as a number of first team players are still nursing some slight injury. source: sugod.com/10260/jerry-lucena-played-in-clubs-friendly-defeat/agffodbold.dk/

JERRY LUCENA MAKING IT FOR AZKAL FRIENDLIES!
Its confirmed! From AGF website...
Here is the entire article, translation courtesy of google:
For the first time ever, the Philippines qualified for the finals of the AFC Challenge Cup and a AGF'er has great stake in success.
First Hobro, then Palestine and Bangladesh. AGF's Jerry Lucena saw last week a scene change of the greats. The postponement of the away game against Hvidovre opened up that he could enroll under the Philippine Football tabs and participate in the group stage of the AFC Challenge Cup, a qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup.
Lucena, born and raised in Denmark with a Danish mother and Filipino father, attended earlier this year in a team meeting in the Philippines with the revised match point in the first division, the road was paved for the national team debut.
Just a few days after he helped to secure 2-0 victory over Hobro in spring premiere, he was therefore at a stadium in Myanmar wearing the national jersey for "Azkals" ("wild dogs"), as Filipinos popular call their national team and hummed in good faith with the fi lippinske national anthem "Lupang Hinirang."
- I have not heard the national anthem so often, and when it was played before the second match, I was actually thinking that I'd better be getting it abolished, so I can learn it, says Jerry Lucena.
National song was just one of the many things that were new to AGF'eren, and overall the experience has given him the courage more national team football.
- It's been a great experience and incredibly exciting to be part of. It has certainly given me a taste, and I am looking to get out on new adventures, says the 30-year AGF'er.
Football Fever That it has so far been an adventure for Lucena, not least because he and team mates rather have kick-started a Filipino football fever. Island kingdom with around 90 million inhabitants have never had the great tradition of football. A ranking as No. 151 in the FIFA World Rankings speaks, but the Football Association has set out to change. A German national coach has been hired and a powerful national team is being built. Semi-Filipinos, who play in European leagues, has been affiliated, and the battles for AFC Challenge Cup showed that efforts have already borne fruit.
1-1 against Myanmar, 0-0 against Palestine and 3-0 over Bangladesh caused so that the Philippines for the first time qualified for the finals of the AFC Challenge Cup, and performance has not gone unnoticed.
- There are almost spread football fever. People are up and running, because it is the first time they have gone further. Yes, after the last match went people crazy - as if they had won the World Cup. It also means a lot that we will succeed, because there is a need for publicity and sponsors, if the positive trend to continue, says Lucena.
In the general population is boxing and basketball is still the most popular sports, but Lucena would not be surprised if football can eventually squeeze in front of basketball.
- Boxing is the greatest, because the world's two best fighters currently Filipinos. When Manny Pacquiao, for example, boxing title fights, the streets completely deserted. Basketball has always been great, but I think they are finding out that they have a greater chance to assert themselves in football. They're not the highest, so physically fit football better for them, said Jerry Lucena.
Tactical skills It was just the second time that he was away with the national team, but he was positively surprised by the progress that has already happened.
- It is obviously difficult to assess the level. It's not insanely loud, but not insanely bad. However, it was significantly better compared to last time I was joined with the team and the main thing is that it gets better and better, and that it evolves in a positive direction, said Lucena, who in fighting in Myanmar appeared on the central midfield and has particularly contributed to his tactical training.
- I am first and foremost to make the team tactically stronger. I must help that we constantly are well on track and defend us in a sensible way, and I also think defensive worked fine in the fighting, said Lucena.
6.9 on Richter scale He has been back in Denmark now ten days - rich in many new impressions and experiences. One had, however, he would have done without. While the team was in Myanmar, the country was hit by an earthquake which was measured at 6.9 on the Richter scale - just 13 days after the earthquake disaster in Japan.
- It was a little scary, and we could not help but feel it. We were in our rooms as the entire hotel and suddenly began to swing. It was not so long, but it was an intense experience - also because we had the earthquake in Japan fresh in his mind. Yes, my teammates were actually at training camp in Japan when the earthquake took place here, so they thought it pursued them. Fortunately my family not to be troubled, and I could call and tell them that everything was okay, says Lucena.
The earthquake has not removed the impression of an exciting trip that he wants to repeat when it fits in AGF's program.
The next major task for the Philippine national team's World Cup qualification kationskampe in June and July, and in March next year is the finals of the AFC Challenge Cup. Certainly with Lucena on the team - ready for new Philippine football adventure ...
