Jason de Jong Hey stallion fc fans, hope to see you in march! I promise not to get à yellow card Jason de Jong.. (got this from the Stallion fan page on fb) So is Jason going to play for Stallion FC after the UFL break? I'm not sure of this, as Dordrecht isn't finished with its season. If this is just a loan deal till the UFL or the Eerste Divisie season ends, it's fine with me, if he does want to have quality time with our nationals here. But being signed up long-term to this UFL Club? That'll be GREAT! He'll definitely be a booster in the midfield! Definitely a machine! (I suspect this deal involved Ernie Nierras, as Jason and his family are good friends since Jason entered the Azkals in 2008.) But like the young Euro-based boys who have been featured in UFL clubs, they should stay where they are to build up skills. Jason should stay in the Netherlands.

Ernie Nierras, Stallion FC coach commented on Jason de Jong's post on the Stallion FC Facebook page:"We will sign players because we believe in that players ability to add value to our program. We live and die by the football culture that defines who we are. Whoever wants to play for STALLIONFC, will need to embrace this and love it! WE ARE STALLION!"
Hmmm... I'm intrigued. But I assert that Jason should stay with Dordrecht.

I'm a Stallion fan, but their style of play isn't something to be proud of. The play, yes. The aggressiveness, yes. But elbows to the face and flying high boots...
stellar, Jason has been interviewed before and has mentioned playing in Asia, making some money and opening a business in the Philippines, unfortunately I didn't bookmark it.
I read your blog, Jason hasn't been called up to the senior team as far as I know, but more importantly, his "Youth League's" 2011-2012 season ends with its last game on March 19 2012 and he is basically free after that. from there we can speculate. Oh, and if he is still signed with FC Dordrecht, his 2012-2013 season doesn't start until August(but they do have training camp earlier).

Jason will surely fit in with Stallion, and hopefully will be a solid presence on the defense line. Although, I'm not sure of his composure due to his infamous temper tantrums. But I'm good that he could be like Aly B of Kaya - an emotional bedrock. If he's still with Dordrecht, I presume he will only be there till the end of the regular UFL season. If he's not with them anymore and can be available for the next Cup season, I'm optimistic he will definitely put the UFL club to the semis.

CEDELF TUPAS: Jason De Jong underwent trial for a club in Scotland that's why he's coming in late

Great. If this club is around the Scottish 2nd or 3rd division, this is already good; better if it comes from the 1st Division or the Scottish Premier League (who knows? ). But it won't be a problem for me if it comes from the lower tiers, at least he is finding a better team to fit his abilities.

maybe Rangers or Celtic? who knows? hehe, just kidding HAHAHA! I think he won't cut in there. Maybe he could be fit in Dundee United, Aberdeen or Heart of Midlothian, but that's just me. ;D But as long as that club he's in is within the Renfrewshire/Glasgow/Edinburgh or Aberdeenshire/Dundee/Angus area, I'd be OK. (P.S. Yes, there's such a place named Angus. Angus beef, anyone?) ;D

De Jong signs up with Scottish League club[/color] By Olmin Leyba (The Philippine Star) Updated March 12, 2012 12:00 AM Comments (0) KATHMANDU – Azkals Fil-Dutch midfielder Jason de Jong is set to bring his trademark aggressive plays to Scotland instead of moving over to the Philippines. De Jong said he’s set to sign with Scottish League second division club Ayr United FC, ruling out plans for a stint in the United Football League (UFL). “I would have loved to play in the Philippines but this is a big opportunity for me,” said the 22-year-old booter on the eve of the Azkals’ crucial duel with former champion India in the AFC Challenge Cup here. De Jong attended trials with Ayr last week, making him unavailable for Phl XI in its losing effort against defending titlist North Korea (0-2) at the start of competitions last Friday. “I chose this club because the style of play suits me. I can be on my thing, (doing) strong, physical (plays). There you don’t get booked for every tackle you make. And the players are really fit, aggressive and strong,” he said. De Jong has taken in some sort of rounds in four countries, having previous club stints in Belgium, the Netherlands and Indonesia. He’s being offered a slot by Stallion Gilligan’s FC in the UFL prior to trying out with Ayr Utd. www.philstar.com/sportsarticle.aspx?articleid=786278&publicationsubcategoryid=69
Ayr United, based in Ayr, South Ayrshire (a suburb of Glasgow), currently plays in the First Division of the Scottish Football League. They are currently 8th in the 10-team league, just at the borderline of the relegation zone.

Ayr United was promoted to the SFL First Division after it ranked second at the Second Division in the 2010/11 season, and won the promotion play-offs versus the First Division 9th placer Cowdenbeath.
Ayr have enjoyed success in the current season of the Scottish League Cup, beating SPL sides Inverness, Hearts and St. Mirren on their way to the semi-finals. Ayr United played against rivals Kilmarnock in the semi-finals for the first time ever, only losing to Kilmarnock in extra time. They also lost in the Scottish Cup against SPL side Hibernian in the quarter-finals.
Scottish football is considered physical, but internally uncompetitive compared to neighbouring England, with the clear dominance of Rangers and Celtic in the SPL with a very large differential in strength between the 2nd and 3rd place clubs.

Great, all of these things are still rumours. So, if he doesn't take this deal with Ayr United, or if his agent doesn't want to, might as well look for another while there are windows open for opportunity...

Ok, I asked 2 days ago if JdJ's signing might pull through. Here is the answer I received:
@wikingbk Sorry, I just remembered your tweet! I doesn't look likely that De Jong will be signing for Ayr.
Stallions fans, hope?
