LOL! ;D Typical of the Genuinos. Full of swagger. Even set up a CNN advert directed to those well-to-do Pinoys who watch CNN . Turned out to be a farce. Those chaps are just a facade of Trace Colllege here in UPLB. If those Genuinos would want to build a stadium, no thanks.
And Besides, I don't want my future football club's stadium or field to be named after our mayor. Or having MADE BY THE FUNDS OF MAYOR SO-AND-SO painted on it's roof.

If we're looking long term, we should have at least 4 top class stadiums around the country so we can be eligible to host proper tournaments (up to 16 competitors at least - 4 group stages) and also derive the economic benefits derived from it with the influx of supporters, media, visitors, etc. Cebu is planning to build one and Mindanao should have one too. i agree 4 stadium would be nice, suggest locations??? here's mine 1) rizal memorial - since it's already there we can just renovate it to turn it into a better stadium. 2) bicol area - maybe @ legaspi area a stadium were one can see the beauty of mayon volcano hehehe 3) cebu - i hope the planned stadium happens hehehe 4) davao - maybe one of the safer places in mindanao? what do u think? hehehe

Don't forget Panaad. If Rizal is to be renovated, then they should do the same for Panaad. It's already been used before for international matches. Besides, renovation would be more cheaper than building one from scratch. (Disclosure: I'm from Bacolod, hehe)

Better build municipal all-purpose stadiums which can have as little as 3000 seats. don't need to build 10,000 seaters...yet.
