I think his size hurts his chances at the seniors, having said that, I hope he is given a chance at the U23 (he is under 23?). His is quick, nimble and knows how to score and from what Ive seen argueably a better passer than Chieffy. Its just an observation so please dont flame hehe.

If size matters, then Chieffy shouldnt play either. Hehehe He wont play for the U23 coz he is 24 or 25.

Its just that when I saw him with the Kuwaitis, my first thought was, " man I hope they dont hurt him" as for Chieffy, I felt he's been there against those big foreign opponents for years and is probably hard from those experiences already. I do want to see him with more playing time though. Its too bad about his age, he couldve helped the U23 I think.

Loyola make approach for Misagh Bahadoran Manila, AUGUST 6 (Sugod.com) – Global midfielder Misagh Bahadoran has claimed that Loyola have expressed interest in signing him before the LBC United Football League season starts. He said the a number of key players had asked him to play for Loyola. In last season’s transfer window, the club has brought-in Nomads’ Hartmann brothers and former Union defender Taku Yoshioka. The new signings had been impressive in Loyola remaining matches helping them achieve fifth place in the league last season. With good news on the development of football in the country, Loyola had been preparing for the upcoming season seriously. But in their recent pre-season friendly, Loyola failed to capture victory over reigning Cup champions Global at the Ateneo football field in a match with heavy bookings. sugod.com/10807/loyola-make-approach-for-misagh-bahadoran/

Just a correction guys and hopefully this reaches the ears of our announcers, Misagh is properly pronounced in Iranian as Mee-sakh with a silent k so to us it sounds like Mee-sah.
Our tv announcers like to show of their knowledge of German by pronouncing our coaches name with the letter V instead of W, so hopefully they can do the same with our Fil-Iranian player.

Misagh just scored a goal in the Philippine Futsal team's 3-0 win over Australian Black Knights club. Apparently this is in preparation for national futsal team's possible participation in the SEA games contingent on them getting funding from sponsors as this article suggests: sports.inquirer.net/20167/six...mes-says-magatMisagh has and continues to be a mainstay of the National futsal team and is available to play in the SEA games because he is ineligible to play for the U-23 football team. An article on the friendly: Bahadoran stars as PH futsal squad shutsout Black Knights FC By Celest R. Flores INQUIRER.net 10:11 pm | Monday, October 17th, 2011 10 share11 1 MANILA, Philippines—Displaying fine footwork and sheer speed, the Philippine men’s futsal squad blanked visiting Black Knights FC from Australia, 3-0, in friendly match Monday at the Ninoy Aquino stadium. Fil-Iranian Misagh Bahadoran, who is also a member of the national football team, starred in the victory for his relentless attacks, for which he was rewarded in the 39th minute. After close misses, Bahadoran finally connected on a free kick to double the lead, 2-0, even as he assisted Eddie Mallari in the ninth minute with a slick pass for the opening point. In the 43rd minute, Sajad Khodarami blizted all the way for the country’s final goal. National team head coach Esmael Sedigh, though, felt the squad—known as the Philippine Eagles—could have scored at least 7-8 goals with the way they played. The Philippines, a potent mix of locals and Fil-foreigners, could have padded onto the lead with its countless attempts but lacked consistency in finishing. Keeper Francis Paranpan also stood his ground in the face of the Black Knights’ wave of attacks with a brilliant save after another. One of Paranpan’s notable saves was when he thwarted a stunning header by Australia’s Mitomo Somehara early in the match. The friendly match is part of the squad’s build-up for the 2011 Southeast Asian Games in November. Earlier, the Philippine women’s futsal team also shut out the WNCAA All-Stars in an exhibition match with the same score. Jocelyn Guico, Richelle Placencio and Honey Thomason filled the score sheet for the Philippine side. sports.inquirer.net/20761/philippine-mens-futsal-squad-shuts-out-australias-black-knights-Apparently Gino Pavone is part of this team. Former Azkal Fil Am Eddie Mallari scored one of the goals.

There are reports that Misagh will be trying out for a 2nd division J.League club Tokyo Verdy next week. Global FC coach Graeme McKinnon confirms: ceburoo: -@misagh_9 @globalfc_PHL we do poll 4 d global fans if you go to japan gabi or next monday nite Vote YES 2 allow and NO 2 stay & play v Kaya -@globalfc_PHL for those wondering HOLLYWOOD (Misagh) has chance 2 go 2 Japan 2 try out for a team there Vote YES to go now & miss Kaya or NO 4 later -Yes the team is Tokyo Verdy
If the Tokyo side will be interested to sign him up, that would mean he will be a new addition to our foreign-based players, and he will be the first Philippine international for a 2nd Div. J.League side. Great move for him IMO.

He should go, not only would it be a great leap for him in terms of competition, it would also benefit him as he is young and good coaching should coax out more of his potential as a player. If this news is true, I hope he decides to go. Btw, Tokyo Verdy has spent more time in its history in J1 and has only been recently relegated to J2. The past 2 years they have been close to coming back to J1. Just saw this today as I was curious. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_VerdyThanks for the post stellar!
