If he will be fielded as a CB in the Long Teng Cup, who will be filling his shoes at the RM/RWM (Lexton Moy??? possibly)

Based on the team's and individual performances at the Long Teng Cup, I would prefer JYH playing a more central midfield role as a box-to-box midfielder instead of CB in partnership with a natural holding/defensive mid such as De Jong, Lexton or Matthew H. This is for situations like in the Long Teng Cup where a number of our Euro based players can't make it.
Christaens showed a lot of potential and promise as a winger, and as the kid develops more experience, we can look at the possibility of fielding Chieffy and Christaens at the same time on the wings with James in central midfield. Alternatively to Christaens, playing James in central mid allows a spot for Misagh on the wings.
Notice that part of our problem at the LTC was distribution from central midfield and the slow offensive transition. We were weak in that area hence the constant use of long balls. James' passing range and abilities will address that problem and can allow Guirado to play as a striker or in an advanced midfield role. Note in LTC when Guirado played in central mid, he played deep at times and his abilities were sorely missed in the opposing third of the pitch and he didn't seem suited as a box-to-box midfielder. Guirado is better used in an advanced position and closer in support to Phil.
With James plying as a central mid, he can also provide extra cover for the defense along with his holding mid partner when our wingbacks make forward forays and overlapping runs in support of the offense.
Considering that the crucial central roles are ideally filled in by our more seasoned Euro based Azkals, James at central mid is a good alternative to consider when they are not available. He was tried in this role against the UFC All-Stars. The only problem in that game was that he was partnered with Simon Greatwich who is more a box-to-box player than a holding mid. for this work, James must be partnered with a more natural and defensive oriented holding player.

Bumped back this topic, in relation to James' usage as a defensive player in the Indonesia-Philippines friendly.
James isn't a center-back or right-back material to be honest. He's more of a right midfield role, and can partner well with a good defensive mid (Jason de Jong, for instance), and can feed well to his brother Phil.
At RB, the Indonesian player exploited his side very well, resulting to lapses and making Rob Gier work too hard to cover his side. I'm really unsure if in the future, either in the NT or at Loyola, being a RB or CB can do wonders well for him.

James played defensive mid in 2011's local ICare something-something tourney if I remember right. He played well too. In my opinion if Reichelt can be available all the time for the Azkals, MAYBE we can try James as a permanent replacement at CB. BUT its hard to say he doesn't belong as an offensive player(at RM) as he scores timely goals(game winner vs HK and game tying vs Indonesia in 2012, though Phil had the last goal), uses his height very well in front of the goal and very good passing skills.
Angel also played DM in the last Long Teng Cup, I thought he played very well too and pretty much manhandled the smaller teams we played against. I'd hate to see him on defense though, too much offensive skills.
