with Pascal as the goalkeeper coach, are we expecting a regular first team appearance for Roland? hmm.i think he should fight this spot against the team's first choice keeper

Well the thing is that going to Geneva is not an excelent move for his career. 2nd Swiss division is not that great. The best thing we can hope for him is that he makes and excellent season and gets transferred out of Switzerland.

I think they could easily bounced back to bundesliga 2, plus he is the 1st choice keeper in duisburg.

Since Coach Zubi is the GK coach in Servette, he can easily track his progress before our game. If he became the 1st choice here and help them promote the team, he has a big chance to stay longer in the club.
BTW, only the Top 1 team in the Challenger's League will be promoted to Swiss Super League

Since Coach Zubi is the gk coach of Servette fc. He could negotiate with Servette officials and the PFF to have a friendly/annual matches with the Azkals. I think it would be a pretty good idea.

That is quite impossible, if you ask me. Could be expensive on Servette's part. But nevertheless, it's a good idea.

At the moment I think Muller have slight edge against Etheridge in terms of mental toughness, a most important quality indispensable in a goalkeeper. Roland plays regularly for his team in weekly basis while the further Neil got is just to have listed in the squad in certain match days.

Roland seems to have lost his place as starting goalkeeper for Servette FC for the moment. While serving his suspension in the league, Servette signed Jeremy Frick a backup goalkeeper from Olymique Lyonnais who proceeded to have some impressive performances while Muller was unavailable. As a result Frick kept his place as starting goalkeeper even when Roland came back.

It seems that Muller's club Servette FC was relegated to the third tier for financial reasons, despite finishing in 2nd place in the Swiss Challenge League(2nd tier). www.thelocal.ch/20150602/servette-fc-struggles-after-being-booted-from-league The league issued a statement saying that Servette FC was unable to show that it could obtain sufficient revenues to cover its budget for the 2015-16 season. The club can appeal the decision to a sports arbitration tribunal, although it is not clear whether it will have the resources to do so. The SFL’s decision means Servette FC, a team with an illustrious history going back to 1890 that has won 17 league championships and seven Swiss Cups, will be relegated to the third division Promotion League. “We are going to battle to avoid bankruptcy,” Hugh Quennec, Servette’s president, is quoted as saying by 20 Minutes newspaper. “But this decision of the league to not give us a licence is a severe blow,” Quennec said. The club has reportedly not paid its players and staff since April. _____ I wonder if this is going to affect Roland's status with Servette FC, especially if they have to declare bankruptcy, although it looks like Roland and the team are still with club during the preseason. www.servettefc.ch/fr/actualite/article-7223.htmlMüller: We have to show the other teams we're Servette ServetteFC.ch | Published: 07/31/15 at 12:35 The Servette FC goalkeeper returns to the pre-season preparation of Garnet. He mentioned the importance of this period for the rest of the season. Hello Roland! How was the summer preparation? The preparation has gone really well. There have been changes in the workforce and we must keep working hard in training to fully integrate newcomers find and automation. The coach and all the staff have done a great job, I think it is even more sharpened and shaped as last season at the same time. We also work a lot with the ball in order to be easily match. The friendly matches are also important and I think they were positive for the team. There are still details to improve, but that comes with time. Can you explain the importance of preparation? It is crucial for the rest of the season. It must be developed and present in the first game of the championship. We have to show the other teams we're Servette! As I said before, the workforce has been somewhat modified. This period allows us to learn to live together and create affinities on and off the field. Is preparing for a goalkeeper is different? Daniel Blanco, goalkeeping coach Christophe and Joao Guedes Barroca was adapted exercises. I think Dani (Editor's note: Daniel Blanco) has us really well prepared for the new season. Before each practice, we work together on specific exercises for goalkeepers as the raises hand or foot. The purpose of the exercises is to develop qualities such as reflexes, relaxation or explosiveness. When it is hot, we joined the rest of the team to the end of the session.
