Simon graced a football event in Bacolod, and is now in Bohol visiting his maternal grandfather's hometown.
I think he'll be back in the US or the UK in a few days' time.

Jonny it would seem that he is on vacation, he has said that he has about 2 weeks left.
During the UFL game today, the announcers were wondering if he will play after his time off. I'm wondering, did he get a semester off to play in the Philippines or we pavoned ourselves into believing he was playing in the Philippines, and this was really just a vacation ?!

I have seen the team sheet and his name is included on the roster. When we will see him play? That is up to the Loyola coaching staff.

as what people said, he is only in vacation. i don't think he will jeopardize his US NCAA eligibility by playing with a "professional" team. how many years of college does he still have left?

Simon Greatwich finished last season with his college team, the Hartwick Hawks, as one of its better players. Though the season ended with a "not-so-great-result", he did enough on the pitch for him to be recognized by his football conference(MAC Mid Atlantic Conference) and be included in its 2nd team All-Conference pick. Here is what they had to say about Simon: READ MORE HERE:wikingandtheazkals.blogspot.com/2012/02/if-you-didnt-know-simon-greatwich.html

FYI: He was interviewed during a UFL game before the Singapore Cup. It was the usual questions, and his response to one of them was that after graduation(late in 2012), he would likely come back to the PI and play in the UFL. Dunno if that was just lip service, but I'm sure any team, especially LMS would spend good money on him, not to mention commercial endorsements ala Misagh, Chieffy and other higher profile UFL players, to add to his purse.
