I believe it is Jason Webb and Ryan Fenix who did the coverage for AkTV. For a second there, i wondered what if it was Bob G on the call.

I like how they comment the game, there style is like ERAP (pang masa). the thing is, AkTV has that down pat most of the time.

who's the commentators at Studio 23's coverage at the Laos match? One's so lively and the other's so gloomy with a cool unwavering voice. Is that Coach Rudy?

I've always liked Chris Soler. Coach Rudy is very knowledgeable but sounds too relaxed, like he's on weed. =)

Bob Guerrero was annoying during the LA Galaxy coverage. He called Landon Donovan "Landon" (are you close? ) He mentioned the personal lives of all the players (but it's OK to educate everyone.) Darren was sort of awestruck yet giddy with the Galaxy esp. Beckham and Keane (Darren is a half-Englishman, you know.) He mentions a lot about these persons who have played in the Premiership and their styles of play. He didn't mention much on the Americans except Donovan, who has played in the Bundesliga and the Premiership. And it's still interesting that on the Studio 23 feed, any sort of UFL mention and anything connected to it directly or indirectly was really kept to a minimum. (But Santi Araneta is not happy about it.)

^santi araneta is right to be angry about that. if it weren't for him and the ufl, there will be no 35% discount and he also helped out in the marketing of the game.

YA I also noticed that, They never mentioned that some of the players on the field will be playing a big match on Monday. I hope TV station wont start this and divide our football community. If you watch UFL games on AKTV, you can hear the game commentator talking about the National team(azkals) and its up coming games that will be aired on a different station. Wat up ABS?

I just wanted to mention that a US fan on bigsoccer made this observation about our commentators(Guerrero and Hartmann) on the LA Galaxy Azkals game:
"Man, I loved listening to the local announcers calling this game. You should check it out id you've got the time. Really entertaining... and fun to watch LA play so wide-open as well."

Btw, you can blame ABS-CBN for the lack of UFL mentions. Don't pillorize the announcers, alright.
If you go to the venues, it is usually Bob Guerrero doing the announcing there. So if Bob is allowed to make any UFL mentions, he would have done it already.

Medyo "pang-masa" (which is good, don't get me wrong), thus accessible, yung commentators last night for the UFL semis. I chuckle every time they mention the "Extra Rice" (the somewhat pudgy GK for the Air Force), which incidentally did a great job last night, made some great saves against Global. First time I heard "Love Taps" (?) on local coverage.

Imagine if he had a slim physique and younger. To be honest, he probably was the best GK in all matches that day. I too had a good laugh the first time the commentators mentioned his nickname.
