As a rule, most Spanish first division matches are played on Sunday evenings, with kick-off time between 4.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. There is one match televised by a codified channel (Canal +) usually starting at 8.00 p.m. All other Sunday games are shown on Pay Per View channels. Three or four games will usually be brought forward to Saturday, especially when La Liga clubs will be playing in the Champions League the following week, with the last match of the evening televised live on an open channel. Games in the top two divisions may also be scheduled for Friday or Monday night, and as from this season one first division match will normally kick off at mid-day on Sunday.

Go Los Blancos Real Madrid 3-0 Ajax AmsterdamReal Madrid captain Iker Casillas addressed the media after the match against Ajax and showed his satisfaction with the team's performance."Ajax looked to have chances to score and to keep possession. They were a serious and solid opponent. We played rather well and I think all of those who play make it difficult for the coach to choose. Ricardo (Kaka) played very well and that's what matters: that a player is in good form to help the team." "We pulled off fast counterattacks, which allowed us to have many chances on goal. Cristiano scored from a beautiful team effort. We did rather well." "We must be calm and win our home games. We must now think about our matches against Espanyol and Olympique Lyonnais. By defeating the latter we would have a foot in the next round." "We're human and make mistakes. I'm delighted to receive the fans' affection. I will assume my mistakes and try to smile when they happen." "Real Madrid feel pressure to win this championship since we won our ninth European Cup title. We can win our tenth, but it won't be easy and we have to face up to every encounter. We will fight for it, but it won't be easy."
