Will there be a TV coverage of the Loyola vs Tampines Rovers game later? I also saw the TV advertisement on AKTV about the game, though I saw it only once and I think it was never shown again. Oh well, if they don't televise the game, then they'll most probably air the UFL Cup matches today. Ok na rin. saw an ad after yesterday's PBA game, it would be at 9pm as mentioned before. said ad says it's live but I'm not really sure about it.

From yahoo BobG. Blog
Meanwhile the Younghusband's club team, Loyola Meralco Sparks, is girding for a clash on Thursday against Tampines Rovers at Tampines' home ground, Clementi Stadium in Singapore. It is the first match of a two-legged, aggregate goals affair in the Singapore Cup. Match two is on Sunday on the artificial surface of Jalan Besar Stadium, where the Sparks defeated Myanmar side Kanbawza 5-3 over two legs last July. Aside from the brothers, Loyola also features Azkal midfielder Anto Gonzales and goalkeeper Ref Cuaresma. Mark Hartmann, Matthew Hartmann, and Simon Greatwich are other former Azkals who play for the squad. Tampines, nicknamed the Stags, are bannered by Singapore's ageless Bosnian-born striker, Aleksandar Duric. The tall 42-year old has scored for Singapore 25 times. Another key member of the Stags attack will be Noh Alam Shah. The volatile Singaporean striker was once a mainstay on the national team. At 32 years old, Shah has recently returned from playing in Indonesia with Persib Bandung to rejoin the club he played for from 2003 to 2009. Shah has struck 34 times for his national team and 103 times in his first stint with Rovers. In seven appearances for Tampines this year, he has yet to find the net. The winner of the series meets either Gombak United or Singapore Armed Forces in a one-game final match on October 28 in Jalan Besar. The Singapore Cup is a knockout competition in Singapore that has long included regional squads. I am told that AKTV may provide a live broadcast of the game which kicks off Thursday 7:45 pm.

Based on the video above, They'll air the game at 9pm but the kick-off is 7:45pm. So is this mean it will be a delayed telecast? AKTV promised before to televise it live but what happened? They broke it By the way, I'm suspecting something, I think they prioritize this over the Singapore Cup SMART ARANETA COLISEUM 7:30pm Game 5 Alaska Aces vs San Mig Coffee Mixers
By the way, AKTV can air Suzuki Cup and PBA at same dates on Nov 24 and 30 since PBA 2nd game will start on 7:30pm and PHI vs THA and Qualification winner will kick-off on 9:20pm on both dates. PBA 7:30pm game on Nov 30 is tentative schedule so expect a delay that might cause a short delay on Suzuki Cup's coverage.

Oh, they are delaying the telecast of the Singapore Cup game because of an NCAA game. It's their decision eh. NCAA has very high TV ratings. A football game might not rate as high; well, except if it's an Azkals' game. We're still in a basketball country, so we can't blame them for delaying the telecast.

HT Still Tampines 1-0 Loyola I hope the Sparks can bounce back. They sound threatening but unlucky to not have scored. Duric's a beast at 42!

following the game on futbol24.com... in the 50' min. Rovers scored a goal to make it 2 - 0 then in the 58' min. sparks scored a goal yet it was disallowed and someone from Sparks was red carded... interesting... home cooking time..

Duric "singaporean wannabe " grandpa has been a thorn on Philippines side . A very annoying thorn. I bet he will retire when he's lost all his hair.

Duric "singaporean wannabe " grandpa has been a thorn on Philippines side . A very annoying thorn. I bet he will retire when he's lost all his hair. Lol! Well props to Duric though, this guy is really good. He has kept himself healthy and in top shape even at age 42. ;D I read somewhere in Rick Olivares' blog that he will be retiring soon. If I got it right, this might be his last season.

MATCH RESULT:Tampines Rovers 2 - LOYOLA MERALCO SPARKS FC 0 Goal Scorers: A. Đurić 29' A. Khamarudin 50' Loyola needs to score 3 in the 2nd leg to continue their journey for finals. Next Game: Oct 7 7:45pm Jalan Besar Stadium
It's ok for me if they lost the 2nd leg or win for pride only since this is the first time a PH football club was invited to play overseas. Regarding Duric, SIN could be a deadly team if Duric is there. I bet we'll face a deadly SIN team in Cebu and not the team we faced before but I believe in our young team that showed their talent in the Peace Cup. Age doesn't matter for Duric

2-nil Rovers won. Sparks got schooled by the Rovers ball passing around their pitch side before setting an attack. As for LMSFC they lost there mojos like what they have last time. I noticed where is their SKorean manager, coz he knows football more than what they have today. some star players are too eager to have the ball then when they defended well why not blame themselves instead of team mates. egos over heads. too much ball forward always predictable to the goal.
