Myanmar will now go to South Korea to train there since their coach is a South Korean citizen.
What about us? What is the update for our U-22 team? I haven't heard they're on training. Oh God Why XD They should already training since powerhouses are on their way especially South Korea U-22 team.
Does anyone know when will they start training?

HANOI (5 April 2012) – A string of friendlies in Slovakia have been planned for the Vietnam national Under-22 squad as they gear up for the qualifying round of the AFC Under-22 Asian Cup which will be played out in June. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=8063

By the way, the schedules of U-22 Championship will have a conflict on the Independence Day Cup so expect some young players will not be in the seniors when they face possible HKG, VIE and CHN NT or U-23. It's not a problem anymore for us since we have coaches for senior and youth unlike last SEA Games the senior coach is our coach for U-23 so we miss opportunities of friendlies on Nov 2011 match dates. But they must plan carefully who will be the players for youth.
Wew most of our countries have reports of training but for us??? I don't have updates. It's better to train now or else you'll see horrible performance again like on SEA Games

There is no conflict of schedule with the friendlies in Philippines . The matches start on 23. June as planned.
Myanmar will be hosting the group qualifiers.

Is the u23 training though? I expect prepararations as usual for PFF Youth NT : 1. Start training one month before , two times a week is enough 2. Dont play any friendlies , especially against foreign teams 3. Dont scout for local players based outside Manila Worked very good for ASEAN U19, SEA Games and HBT 2012 in Brunei ;D

I think what he meant was that training camp will be with different coaches and different playing styles/tactics so some young players that can and have played for the senior team will, of course, have to choose what side they will play for, senior or youth side. I hope PFF have enough funds for an early practice sched for the youth teams, otherwise it'll be a repeat of the HBT & SEAG stints again.

PFF officials said that the qualifiers was moved to Early June , but this was only Nepal`s group and not the other groups. www.the-afc.com/en/u22ac-schedule-results?view=Competitions&id=438

Too bad that Coach Z left. He has better credentials and more experience coaching internationally than Weiss or McMenemy, both of whom are basically rookies at their job. If they had to choose a replacement, maybe they should find out if Coach Krautzun is still available. After all he has has led our team to the SEA games semifinals once before and has lots of experience coaching national teams. He would have the same connections abroad that Coach Weiss has and can easily step in as head coach of our men's national team as well, without antagonizing our German benefactors if Coach Weiss falters.
