Angel Guirado will not play in Mongolia because his name was not included in the list that the PFF submitted for the 2nd leg. However, if the Azkals progress to the group stages in Myanmar, Angel can already play since he alread have his Philippine Passport.. Angel Guirado also mentioned that he has a 31-year old brother who also play in the 3rd Division in Spain he said his brother plays left midfielder...

Juan Luis Guirado can play defender or midfielder. He would certainly be a good addition since he plays in the same division as Angel. Also, Neil is hinting in his tweets that there might be a small chance of him making it to Myanmar assuming we hurdle Mongolia first though. My guess is one of the injured goalies at Charlton is recovering.

While the Azkals will miss Phil Younghusband, it looks like we'll have 2 new players upfront who have not been scouted by Myanmar and the rest of the opposition: www.mb.com.ph/articles/309753/ph-azkals-miss-phil-myanmar“Phil will be out for Myanmar, but we have new players coming in. Of course, it’s sad he will not be there, but we have good options – William Espinosa and Filipino-Spanish Angel Aldeguer Guirado,” Weiss said in an e-mail to the Bulletin.

who will handle the camera coverage of the Challenge Cup? I don't like the broadcast from ABS-CBN Sports eh, they have a lot to learn pa about pulling off football broadcasts
I miss a lot of action because the cameraman doesn't pan well, tapos pinakainis ako nung sa Bacolod, every shooting chance may slow-mo replay, you miss the start of setpieces and plays

it was a live FEED from mongolia. the commentators were just inside abs cbn studio in manila. so it wasnt ABS CBN's fault that the camera angle was poor.

I've just checked out the ESPN and Star Sports schedules and saw no sign of the Challenge Cup on match days. Too bad. Guess we'll have to depend on a tie-up between one of our networks with Burmese broadcaster.

Ugh this would only up the football vs basketball fury. Though I must admit I'm more than just disappointed, these lads play so rarely and represent our country! Too bad, so sad, but not unexpected. With all the Azkals hype lately, the near-inevitability of our advancement to the group stage, and the early schedule announcement, ABS-CBN could have found a way though.

Don't blame ABS CBN for the lousy coverage. We were receiving a feed from Mongolia. That Mongolian cameramen should be fired for being so inept.

I find it a real shame Phil's injured. He would've loved being less marked than usual with Angel and William there. And with James and Chieffy at the wings... Ooo exciting!
