Indeed big game. I really wish we could see Angel in action. From what I've been reading he's got a great touch! This is the first time the Azkals will face Palestine. Should be interesting!

Now this is really getting interesting. Only Palestine have the luxury to get another draw (against Myanmar).

The Standings: AFC Qualifying Tournament Group A
1.Palestine 4 pts. 2.Bangladesh 3 pts. 3.Philippines 2 pts. 4.Myanmar 1 pt. W-3 pts. D-1 pt. L-0 pt. Games left: Palestine vs.Myanmar Philippines vs.Bangladesh * Top 2 Teams advances to the next round of AFC
The Scenario:
Palestine Vs. Myanmar:
If Palestine wins, they will end up with 7 pts,top of the group and advance to the next round. If they draw w/ Myanmar, they will finished with 5 pts.and still advances. If Palestine loses they get 4 pts.If Myanmar wins, they get 4 pts.also.BUT,even if Myanmar beat Palestine, they must hope that Philippines beat Bangladesh so they can qualify outright because they beat Palestine. If Bangladesh draws w/ Phils.,Myanmar must beat Palestine with at least 3 goal difference because there will be a 3 way tie between Palestine,Bangladesh and Myanmar w/ 4 pts each. Then the goal difference among these 3 teams will be used.Myanmar is in the disadvantage having lost 2-0 to Bangladesh and Palestine winning 2-0 vs.Bangladesh.Myanmar to advance, must beat Palestine w/ at least 3 goal difference.Palestine only needs to salvage a draw to advance.
Philippines Vs. Bangladesh:
If Philippines beat Bangladesh, we end up with 5 pts.enough to make it to the top 2 w/ Palestine, assuming Palestine wins or draws w/Myanmar.If we draw w/ Bangladesh,we finish w/ 3 pts.So Azkals are out.A MUST-WIN situation for the Azkals. Also a must-win for Bangladesh if they want to avoid a 3 way tie w/ Palestine and Myanmar.Although Bangladesh has an advantage over Myanmar on this scenario.Bangladesh beat Myanmar 2-0.
Summary:IN ORDER TO QUALIFY TO THE NEXT ROUND:
A.Myanmar needs to win against Palestine and hope that Philippines beat Bangladesh. Ending Scenario-1.Phils.-5 pts.2.Myanmar-4 pts.3.Palestine-4 pts. 4.Bangladesh -3 pts. if myanmar and pal end up with the same score of 4 pts, tiebreak is goal diff. Whoever has the the bigger goal differential will advance.
B.Philippines needs to win.A win makes them qualify.A loss or a draw ends their journey.
C.All Palestine needs is to draw their game w/ Myanmar and still qualify. They can even afford to lose this match (provided Bangladesh draws w. The Philippines)They have a 2 goal advantage over Bangladesh beating them 2-0 on their match. The worst thing that can happen to them is if they allow Myanmar to beat them with more than 2 goal difference.
D.All Bangladesh needs is a draw w/ The Philippines and qualify to the next round even if Myanmar beat Palestine (not more than 2 goals) because Bangladesh won over Myanmar 2-0.A win is an outtright qualification.

@cj, regarding summary- section A. if myanmar and pal end up with the same score of 4 pts, tiebreak is goal diff.(advantage pal), not win over the other. pls correct me if im wrong. 1. Identify the runners-up team in each group 2. The best runner-up... team among those ranked second in the groups will be determined as follows: a. Greater number of points from all their group matches b. Goal difference resulting from all their group matches c. Greater number of goals scored in all their group matches d. Fewer number of points calculated according to the number of yellow and red cards received by the Team in all their group matches; e. Drawing of lots

I think it will still apply in settling ties in a group as far as the points are concerned. But I'm not so sure though.

if equal in points the tie break will be....
1. goal differential
2. most number of goals scored
if two or more teams are still tied..... 3. head to head record of tied teams 3a. most points b. goal differential c. most goals
4. lottery
this was the latest tiebreak system i know of, unless fifa updated it. 3a.
