The college team I coach will be having a party while watching the Azkals play Indonesia. My own foreign players will be wondering why we're so worked up and jittery!
Up the Azkals!

Is this the ceburoo of old? Isn't it amazing how far the Azkals have come since those dark days of philfootball and pinoysoccer.

Ricky Olivares, the team's media officer is tweeting the goings-on in Indonesia.
So far, the Azkals are getting verbally pummeled.
Via his Twitter account: "Inside the Bung Karno where we got a rude reception going in. Rude reception is an understatement. the boys getting booed out there as they step on to the pitch for warmups."

FT PHI 0 - 1 IND Good effort from the Azkals. That one Neil Etheridge error cost us. Still, we had A LOT of offensive plays. We should do better in game 2.

Such a rare error from Neil, to be honest. I expected him to do better at that, complete misreading cost us the game. Fair to say we could have had a draw here. It doesn't matter though, judging from the displays - we have a big chance of moving forward. Neil is still the best keeper in the tournament. We just have to make up for it on the second leg. The players might need to work on their stamina - they look drained past 60 minutes.

i don't consider it as Etheridge error but rather as Jhonson error. If he was not bumped, he would have gotten the ball.
