I agree with Roy Moore, Christiaens will probably be at LB. As I said before I really felt Christiaens will be good at LB. This will benefit him and the team overall. With the lack of quality LB in our team and him being young it will be wise to make that transition this early. Either in this coming friendlies or in the UFL, it doesn't matter. Keep him playing that LB position please. We are stacked at midfield position. I believe he has the quality to make the transition and with ample exposure and playing time at that position, our LB position will be in good stead. And with Uy and Omphroy it will definitely give our team depth at the back.

Philippines and Cambodia set to Meet AgainPapz Apolinario 2012-09-04 20:00:00 Football fans are set for an exciting match between the Philippines and Cambodia as the two meet for a friendly match on 05 September 2012 at Phnom Pehn, Cambodia. Despite playing a friendly match, both teams are expected to exhibit hardcore football action in preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup which be held later this year. This upcoming match is not the first time that the Philippines and Cambodia faced each other as they last met during the 2010 Suzuki Cup Qualifiers in Vientiane, Laos. The said match ended in a goal-less draw which saw the Philippines through to the group stages and ended Cambodia’s hopes to qualify. The Royal Khmers will be under the supervision of new coach Hok Sochetra, who is a former Cambodian football player. The team has its eyes set on the qualifying round of the 2012 Suzuki Cup wherein they have to battle against Timor Leste, Brunei, Laos and Myanmar for the chance to reach the group stage. There is much anticipation for the Azkals after their 3-1 loss against Chicago Inferno during the team’s training camp in the US last month. The team will see the return of brothers Phil and James Younghusband, goalkeeper Neil Etheridge, defender Rob Gier and midfielder Paul Mulders. The friendly game between these two sides will be telecast live on Studio 23 at 6:30 PM. The kick-off is scheduled at 7:00 PM. Time to guess the lineup!! Why Basa, because I think he hasn't been given enough chances to shine, he's a natural and he may(or may not) surprise. If he's struggling yank him, there's others we can try there too...

Yes, this will be shown live later (6:30 PM - pre-show; 7 PM - kick-off @ Studio 23). I like Wiking's idea of starting Basa. Though he's more of a CB, we can always use these friendlies to develop our young defenders.

Mulders playing as a forward? And the smallish Christiaens again as a defender? Hmmm. Let's see how this turns out.

We should have been 1-0 up based on the Analysis and from a viewers POV we should really have gone on front.
But on the other hand I'm happy the defense was able to answer every attack of the Cambodians.

whew! Kim Borey got away but luckily he's a right footer (he's on the left wing) and his shot was no match to etheridge.
