I assume it's international week? It's great we're scheduling friendlies based on the FIFA schedule. 4 games is an incredible amount in 2 weeks but still possible, assuming Weiss subs.

Rematch with Indonesia in Azkals’ busy skedBy Cedelf P. Tupas Philippine Daily Inquirer 11:24 pm | Monday, July 30th, 2012 ADD a rematch with Indonesia to the already busy schedule of the Philippine men’s national football team in September. The Azkals, bracing for a tough battle in the AFF Suzuki Cup late this year in Bangkok, are slated to face their 2010 Suzuki Cup tormentors in another international friendly match, this time, in Jakarta. Azkals manager Dan Palami said they are requesting Indonesia to move the date of the match to Sept. 11 to allow the Filipinos to have their European-based players in the team as the game falls on an international friendly date. The Philippines and Indonesia battled to a 2-2 draw in a friendly last June 5 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium with brothers Phil and James Younghusband scoring. The result was an improvement for the Azkals, who have lost all their meetings with the Indonesians in recent years, including a couple of 0-1 defeats in the Suzuki Cup two years ago. Indonesia is also preparing for the Suzuki Cup, where it has been grouped with defending champion Malaysia and Singapore. Stepping up their buildup for the biennial tournament, where they are looking to at least match their historic semifinal finish two years ago, the Azkals are also slated to undergo a two-week camp in the United States starting Aug. 4, playing Chicago Inferno and the US Virgin Islands. The match against the Inferno will be held in Chicago on Aug. 11, while the duel with the Virgin Islands is set in Indianapolis on Aug. 17. The Azkals’ September schedule will also include a match against Cambodia on Sept. 5 in Phnom Penh and a clash against Singapore two days later and the four-nation Paulino Alcantara Cup in Bacolod on the last week of the month The showdown with Laos in Vientiane, initially scheduled Sept. 10, could be moved to Sept. 15 if Indonesia agrees to the Azkals’ desired date, Palami said. Palami said the matches will not only be an opportunity for the Azkals’ Europe-based players time to improve cohesion, which has been a concern for the team, but also provide a chance for the homegrown standouts to gain exposure. “We will give some of our Europe-based players time to play together in the friendlies,” said Palami. “But there will be times when we will have an all local-based group playing which can only be a positive sign for the team. We can only get better with more matches.” sports.inquirer.net/55709/rematch-with-indonesia-in-azkals-busy-sked?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

This article has misleading part Busy September For The Philippines Even Without Nehru CupAugust 01, 2012 MANILA (1 August 2012) – Even without the Nehru Cup, it will still be a busy September for the Philippines as they continue their build-up for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. Following a mis-communication which will now see the Philippines being left out of the Nehru Cup Cup in India slated for the end of August and clipping into the start of September, the AFF Suzuki Cup semi-finalists have now drawn up several hard games on a trot all across ASEAN. They will open their September campaign against Cambodia on 5 September in Phnom Penh and a clash against Singapore two days later in Bacolod City. They will then take on Laos in Vientiane on 10 September before clashing against Indonesia should the latter agree to move their initial 11 September date to four dates later. The Philippines will also have the four-nation Paulino Alcantara Cup – against teams from East Asia – in Bacolod in the last week of September. “We will give some of our Europe-based players time to play together in the friendlies,” said Dan Palami, the team manager of the Philippines. “But there will be times when we will have an all local-based group playing which can only be a positive sign for the team. We can only get better with more matches.” The several friendlies in September is a continuation from the Philippines camp in August where they will play two matches – against the Inferno on 11 August and then the Virgin Islands on 17 August. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=9118

Indonesia-Philippines Clash in Jakarta OffAUGUST 15, 2012 Courtesy of www.aseanfootball.orgJAKARTA (15 August 2012) – It would seem that the return clash between Indonesia and the Philippines in Jakarta has been called off. Both teams had wanted to use the game as a tune-up for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 but they just could not agree on the date. In June, Indonesia had held the Philippines to a 2-2 draw in Manila. Initially the return game was pegged for 15September 2012 at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. Now, that date has been taken over by a game against Vietnam at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya. Indonesia will make a return tie against Vietnam a week later at the My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=9247&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Since Azkals ASEAN Tour nears, we should now scout our opponents here and we might battle them in Suzuki Cup if they could make it.
MATCH RESULT:
SIN NT SIN NT 2 - HKG NT 0
Goal Scorers: 7' Duric 21' Duric
Age doesn't matter as Duric 41 proves it by being the player of the game against HKG. Singapore won in their home. Could the Oct 7 game (SIN vs PHI in Singapore) be repeated in same score and result? Find out!!!
Most of players capped are from Singapore Lions XII (a professional Singaporean Team playing in Malaysia's Super League. It composed of mostly capped SIN players)
Expect a deep cohesion in SIN team since most of them play together in SIN Lions XII

Playing as a team for an extended period of time is very crucial. I'd like to see the UFL welcome an Azkals U-23 guest team to give them a chance to improve together.

Since ASEAN Tour nears, we should scout our opponents, CAM, SIN, LAO We begin with CAM CAM has series of friendlies for their qualification for AFF Suzuki Cup. But in 1st game, they lost to a C-League team. Cambodia Fall To Preah Khan Reach In FriendlyAugust 22, 2012 PHNOM PENH (22 August 2012) – The Cambodia national team under new chief coach Hok Sochetra conceded their second loss in five friendlies against local clubs with a 2-1 loss to Preah Khan Reach FC last night at the National Olympic Stadium. The game was part of the team’s preparation for the qualifying round of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 which will be played in Myanmar in October. Against Preah Khan, the Cambodian national team struck first off Sos Souhana in the very first minute of play before Preah Khan replied with the equaliser from Prak Mony Udom ten minutes later. But Joseph Olatubosun made sure of the winner for Preah Khan when he found the back of the net in the 73rd minute of play. The next game for the Cambodia national side will be against Phnom Penh FC on 25 August 2012 and then Naga Corp FC on 28 August 2012 at the National Olympic Stadium. They will then play the Philippines national team on 5 September 2012 and then Cambodian Expats on 13 September 2012. why can't they remove Araneta from the line-up? he is not effective with our previous outings and im sure he will still remain ineffective in our future matches.
how about Deyto? is the on going classes preventing him to join the Asean tour?
