really hoping Patino can join the camp and show his wares in the Kuwait game. it may be a win-win situation anyway. the brothers get to earn from endorsement and some of the players get to have that chance to play in a high level friendly match.
The reason they get endorsement coz they play for the MNT not for the UFL. If we dont see them playing for the MNT those endorsements will thin out in a given time.
I agree about Patino, we need to get him, but we are still not sure if he is better than Phil. Forget James, we are deep on that position.

Based on the articles I've read, the PFF wanted the Younghusbands to leave on Tuesday, but they had a previous corporate commitment for that day, and wanted to leave on Wednesday. The PFF then decided that was too late for the Bahrain match, so they booked the Younghusbands on Friday since they would be going straight to Kuwait. My opinion? The brothers and/or their business partner should have re-scheduled or cancelled that commitment. No matter what they say about playing for the national team, their actions will be the true gauge of their commitment. And yes, if they keep this up, they may not have too many endorsements in the future.

I get it.. Now PFF will have another reason..
Why not booked a person if they can still catch for the game or maybe put them on the lineup but they will not start or let them seat on the bench and be with the Team so that they can prepare early for the KUWAIT match if they will not be playing for BAHRAIN, rather than making them pay for not doing what the PFF wants.
Ika nga sa kapampangan "PANYUNU DALA"
Edit: Anyway it would be grate if Patino or Ramsey can play for us and then maybe YH Bro's can retire for the NT. So that we can also see if our Youngsters can step up againts a formidable apponents like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

"pag gusto maraming paraan, pag ayaw maraming dahilan.." trans I think the YH bros are victims of their too much success. They should weigh on what they really want and dont let other people hanging in air, either to which side. Yes or no only no more maybe to answer. PFF i think is preserving something within the team that no money can really buy, camaraderie of their players and transparent respect to each other players and to managment vice versa Based on the articles I've read, the PFF wanted the Younghusbands to leave on Tuesday, but they had a previous corporate commitment for that day, and wanted to leave on Wednesday. my point was if their prioriities are with their endorsements, then so be it. we can't blame them if they want to earn and it is a proven fact that playing for NT will not give them millions as what they are receiving now. let's not count on the brothers anymore. they have shown that they don't really mean what they say. good thing we're on the same page on Patiño. i hope Rafa Garcia visits this site, maybe he has some info. really hoping Patino can join the camp and show his wares in the Kuwait game. it may be a win-win situation anyway. the brothers get to earn from endorsement and some of the players get to have that chance to play in a high level friendly match.

i am not surprised by the brothers not being in bahrain, hindi ba sabi nina weiss/PFF kaya hindi sila included sa peace cup is dahil hindi sila ma kapag commit for the october friendlies and camps due to previous commitments, so upfront ang magkapatid sa schedule nila noon pa... anyway we can always speculate or criticize them on their commitments kasi madali sabihin na kung ako yun maglalaro ako sa NT pero priority changes, my question is bakit hindi tayo nag rereklamo pag wala sina schrock, etheridge etc, ang reason natin kasi may trabaho sila... well ano ba ang trabaho nung magkapatid hindi ba endorsements? even jyh said it the distractions they call it for us is our JOB,....im still hoping for a good results for the azkals though lets go azkalssss

with or without, i hope azkals will have smooth sailing in terms of games. and the show must go on for us followers and for masang Pilipino. Sadly, our national football renaissance is still at young stage and already being pulled down by too many issues. is it evident that magaling talaga ang Pilipino sa umpisa lang? but in long term is having very less patience. i hope we moved away from this trait. Godspeed to the azkals' endeavors and let our flag colours fly with pride..

Yeah the YHs even said they would fly straight from Singapore. This is disappointing.
Unless they show that they have a real impact on the team against Kuwait and perhaps Singapore, I can see them not playing in the Suzuki Cup.

The one plain simple reason why the YH bros are being criticized is because they are LOCALLY-BASED and yet they find it hard to attend to all the trainings and practices. That is why there is a big cloud of doubt on their genuine commitment all-out support for the development of the team. It is plainly ridiculous to compare the YH brothers to Etheridge, Shrock, Mulders, Lucena, Cagara, and Guirado who are all playing overseas, far far away from the philippines and yet they commit to play in competitions WHENEVER possible. These euro players also have endorsement deals and its not the ENDORSEMENT schedules at issue but the fact of committing to play despite their FOOTBALL schedules. Know how to distinguish between LEGIT FOOTBALL SKED and COMMERCIAL/ENDORSMENT interests. If the YH brothers dont get their act together soon, I hope they get excluded from Suzuki Cup and just play in the commercial leagues and do commercials. They are CELEBRITIES FIRST, FOOTBALLERS SECOND.

i wont be surprised if the Younghusband Bros are left out for the Suzuki Cup. with or without them i think the azkals will just do fine. the team wont rely on them anymore, the roster is pretty deep. Exclude the YH brothers already. They are showing too much ego and celebrity status. Let the dedicated players play and let them develop.

Problem is they got all this endorsement coz of the success they had in the AFF Suzuki cup 2010 and AFC challenge cup 2012 were PYH was the top goal scorer... Their manager should know that without the National team YH bro's won't be that popular and might loss some of their endorsements...
