Yes, I know it's early but...
Just found out that Mr Dan Palami has just asked Jacques van Bossche to attend the camp. Whether JvB attends, I guess we'll have to find out and see(info from JvB via twitter).

Well there is a Middle East camp but still unconfirmed whether Bahrain or Qatar but I presumed it's BHR. If they are really having camp in Bahrain, there's a possibility that we could face BHR NT there since they were eager to play the Azkals

So far I've not heard any any confirmation on what country it will be held at except for JvB's tweet mentioning "invitation to the Bahrain camp". Hopefully they'll have televised camp friendlies again as it was a very interesting and worthwhile camp with very high caliber opponents in the UAE. As a matter of fact I just edited my copy of the Azkals vs Olyroo's match and have been watching it lately, it was an exciting match and you could tell they learned a lot from the series of friendlies they attended.

As what I've said, BHR really want's to play against our team. If that pushes through, It's good for us and take note, Oct 12 is part of FIFA match date so expect the services of our Europe based players

Azkals add Bahrain match to Suzuki Cup buildupKarl Decena, InterAKTV · Tuesday, August 21, 2012 · 6:35 pm InterAKTV/Allen Chavez The Philippine national men’s football team will be battling Bahrain as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2012 ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup. The Azkals will play against Bahrain in a friendly match on October 12 in its capital Manama, according to the latest fixtures on the team’s official website. The Bahrainis are no stranger to Filipinos, who fell to a 3-1 defeat against the Middle East side’s Under-23 squad in July 2011. But the Azkals will first face Southeast Asian rivals Cambodia on September 5, Singapore on September 7 and Laos on September 10 before participating in the Paulino Alcantara Cup, which is slated from September 25 to 29 in Bacolod City and will feature Guam, Macau and Chinese Taipei. The Filipinos are coming off their training tour in the United States this August, where they fell to USL Premier Development League side Chicago Inferno, 3-1, and saw their match against the US Virgin Islands cancelled due to misunderstanding among organizers. The Azkals are using the matches to prepare for the 2012 Suzuki Cup in November, where they look to surpass their historic semifinal run two years ago. www.interaksyon.com/interaktv/azkals-add-bahrain-match-to-suzuki-cup-buildup

A training camp in Bahrain from Oct. 8-18 is also in the pipeline with a match against the Bahraini national team set on Oct. 12 and a second friendly with another Middle East nation being arranged.www.philstar.com/sportsarticle.aspx?articleid=840573&publicationsubcategoryid=69
What could be that another Middle East country that we'll face probably on Oct 16? Could it be Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc. hehe

Well we should now look for Middle East countries that don't have a game on Oct 16 hehe. By the way Oct 16 is the last day in FIFA match days for October.

Wow. That's really nice of Bahrain. I would imagine that higher-ranked teams like Bahrain would want to play with other higher-ranked teams.

There's still plenty of Middle East countries to choose from. Not Available: UAE, QAT, IRI, IRQ, JOR, OMA UAE has friendly match. The rest are vying for a spot for FIFA WC Asia contenders -some info from jonny Available: KUW, KSA, PLE, YEM, SYR, LIB* *although LIB is vying for spot in FIFA WC Asia contender, in their schedule, there are no games for Oct 12 and Oct 16 as games are for fellow teams in group Who knows BHR organizers could also pick a country from Greater Middle East region but I presume it could be from the 6 available above. hehe
