While I do disagree on the lineup (this is Kuwait, man!) I am curious to see how much the cohesion achieved by Weiss' starters would pay off. If things don't go their way, Weiss can always sub.

Phil looked a bit unfit his last time out for the NT. Perhaps he is still struggling? Haven't seen Angel play lately, but I would expect him to be in better shape than when he left the phils given his starting status....

With the starting X1 of Michael Weiss, he shows character. This is a clear signal that he does not let himself be influence from all this talkings and outside suggestions to let the YHB's be in the starting X1 againts Kuwait as if they are the Football Mesiah. He sees this friendly game againts Kuwait as a chance to develop some of the players which he thinks he can rely on when he needed them. On top of it he is giving them a chance to improve their performance againts a stronger team. These starting X1 is not nonsense as what Cebuana commented. It's high time that the Filipinos should start to stop this drama of treating the YHB's like Football Messiah of the Philippine Football and see that without the YHB's there are also potential in the team and support them.

its that coach W knows PYH can finish and maybe hes trying to bring out the full potential of D Wolf at higher competition.

i have to keep reminding myself that whatever the result of this match can only be beneficial to the team. This is a training camp after all. But there is a part of me, the one that was part of the rain drenched throng at RMC last year for WCQ, wants some payback. come on, Azkals!
