Naturalize Joaquín Cañas!!! i would prefer Taher of Pasargad over him. how about Van Bossche? i thought he plans to study here or was that Marasigan? Christieans and Marasigan should convince this guy play in the UFL also missing is Amani Aguinaldo, this guy is tall and is our CB in U-19 and U-21 youth team. played for LMS in Singapore cup last year but i haven't seen him play in the UFL maybe because of school commitments?

Youth?
Deo and Amani are the two that come to mind. (Both have been included on the big call-up group earlier this year).
Dunno what happened to JvB. At least Angelo is here and is in fact with the U23 in Singapore.

jacques is in Belgium, very busy with exams fot his study as geodetic engineer . if all goes well he could be available for the sea-games . if the training camp for the u23 would take place early july he could attend, after that it will depend on the goodwill of his new club ( where he will be used as central defender paired with an experienced professional player . i'll keep you informed .

Yup. The BENE defense (Belgium + Netherlands) alignment featuring Marasigan, De Jong, Van Bossche & Christiaens is still my preference for the SEA Games. With Segunial, Aguinaldo, Tongson, etc. providing depth behind them.

Jacques will be given a chance to be seen by the coaches. But he needs to impress and needs to show that he's better than those on the squad. Past experiences with national team will not count for much if he's out of shape and other players perform better than him. The players from Europe have to prove themselves more (unless he plays in top tier of league) compared to those in Manila because their call up is subject to additional expenses (flights & accommodation).

christaens was good being a defender but not a CB i think he is better as a running back he is good with through balls and delivering a cross also having a chance a good finisher. i think converting jason de jong at defender will be good since he was playing def mid.

Christaens has adjusted to the LB role quite well. But De Jong's transition to CB has seen mixed results. Holding Mid is still his more natural position.

Jason De Jong is just too small to be converted at CB he's around 5'7 not bad. thats the problem we cant get tall players yet most of them like basketball i guess.
