It was mentioned on another football blog that this design was the winner of the Mizuno design contest some time back and that it was the national U-19 team that first debut this kit.
I while I love the clean lines and colors of this kit, I think it'd look better if the shorts were just less baggy and shirts had a more tighter, form hugging fit. (Form fitting for our Azkals but looser, wider versions for the average beer bellied fan.)
Shorter sleeves would look better too.

Azkals are on their way to Thailand. Are they playing friendly games there or just training? does anybody know the skeds if any? or what team they will play against?
I always see Matt Hatmann's name as one of the players on news articles, I dont think he is on the team right?

Let's all pray for team Philippine. Singapore is a strong team to beat. But if ever we beat Singapore it'll be the best Christmas gift for all footballers here in the Philippines. GO! GO! GO! Azkals!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. Martinez on the Warpath www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=638592&publicationSubCategoryId=69I hate talking about PFF politics. I don't know about the mess with Des Bulpin, for all we know Martinez might be right about that, as well as all the other monetary problems and dealings with Dan Palami. I have no problem with Chad Gould and Roxy Dorlas being with the Azkals but what I cannot endure is his notion to replace the WHOLE NATIONAL TEAM. Including the coach! He hasn't even congratulated the lads! Doesn't he care about what they've accomplished?! That being said, he is right about the PFF needed to be careful in its dealings with FIFA. What the heck, just hold another congress! If they want it bad enough, the PFF better make sure to cover all bases in booting the guy out, make no sliver of a chance for him to crawl back in. His own words made my skin crawl.

Okay, how about someone start a thread full of Martinez's trolling, and then we all post its link on our facebook profiles? Hopefully, with enough social media exposure, our mainstream media can pick this up and they can reveal how much of an epic troll we have as an (ousted) PFF President, hopefully making the process of (officially) ousting him quicker. It's probably gonna be nasty, but I wouldn't mind as long as he gets whacked good. Again, just GTFO already, Mr. Martinez. EDIT: Okay, how about this? -- Please help out the Philippine National Football Team by reading this article and the comments below it... filipinofootball.blogspot.com/2010/12/martinez-on-warpath.html...and then spread the word to your friends. Azkals, fight on! -- What do you guys think?
