if ever this will be the case, a Filipino club playing in the S-league, i hope it will be our U-23 team sponsored by San Miguel. on the topic: congrats Global. Second the motion, that's a great suggestion. Placing a Philippine club in the S League makes good sense for the S League given the numbers of Filipinos in Singapore. It is a market they can tap to widen their base of income for the league. Perhaps the decision to invite 2 Philippine clubs to the RHB Singapore Cup is a sort of "testing the waters" for this idea.

Singapore fans are commenting that they want a PHL team in the S.League already. Seems a possibility... seems like a good idea. Our B-Team playing in S. League, not a bad idea at all. Pero if ever matuloy to, kailangan natin ng malaking sponsor.

That's too bad. I heard LMS had their chances but couldn't convert them to goals. I've heard in the past that the S. League was considering expanding to include a Philippine-based club.

i thought Baba Samapana was doomed to fail as he let in 2 goals in the first twenty minutes, but from what i read in the tweets, it seems as though he made a lot of great saves until the end of the game

League, i hope they'll create a new one, not by getting one from any of the clubs in the UFL. perhaps send our U-23 team?
