I wish we could win this game by the same margin as our loss in the A5N... or the difference in tries at least:) oh well.. I'm foreseeing a win though nonetheless. I'm a bit excited about the prospect of capping Mike Ott and our other youngsters, hopefully, management would see this as a possible preparation for the SEA Games and compose the squad out of our U-23 eligible players. Also, I'd like to see someone else between the posts! Neil or Muller would probably not be called up but I presume EdSa would be there. Would like to see Deyto or O'Donell... BTW, is Munoz eligible/Filipino or is he purely Peruvian? i'd also like to see Deyto or O'Donnel, but if we look for their recent form, Deyto gets my nod. O'Donnel has been relegated as a second-choice keeper. BTW which Munoz are you referring? the one that playing in Kaya?

Yes, Wilson Munoz of Kaya, I think it was this link, though it's down at the moment, shows him to be from Peru/Philippines, www.fussball-talente.com/Wilson_Munoz-3_7-112456-2.html

Jaimes McKee is the most dangerous striker of Hong Kong, he was the top scorer of this seeason in Hong Kong First Division, scored 16. Welcome to the forum. I hope the Philippines will keep him in check. I'm a little doubtful about their ageing defense.

I hope the Philippines will keep him in check. I'm a little doubtful about their ageing defense. That "ageing" defense in the last dozen games has a (Win-Lose-Draw) record of 7-3-2, these include games against Bahrain, Kuwait and SEA powerhouses Singapore, Thailand and Myanmar. In these 12 games they have only allowed 6 goals, this averages to .5 goals a game by the opponent while our home side has scored 19(although 8 was in one game against Cambodia). While Hong Kong is still a dangerous side and not to be taken lightly by any stretch of the imagination the Philippine team should be able to handle things in good order especially if Gier & Guirado will be manning the central defense and Lucena roaming the midfield. And we haven't even touched on Cagara and de Murga yet. Now if Weiss puts de Jong at CB then I won't be this confident...

so i would say Gould is a better option than De Jong? Weiss might also put Lucena at CB together with Juani so we still have some options

UFL might move the game earlier or after the friendly. but it all depends to the club and the league, last year during the UFL cup Quarter-Finals, our NT had a friendly against Singapore in Cebu, the QF game between Global and Loyola still managed to push through and they played each other minus their NT players This wouldn't have been a problem if the UFL was a FIFA/AFC-approved league. I hope they move their matches within a week before and after the FIFA matches.

would like to see Mike Ott strut his wares for the Azkals!
So the U23 here are: Neil Etheridge, Jason De Jong, Jeffrey Christiaens, Manny Ott, Mike Ott, Marwin Angeles and OJ Porteria... 6 is not bad, but I wish we had more, but I guess separate preparations are already underway for the SEA Games.
