I said again and again the most important factor is for the Azkals to practice at least 5 days or a week together before match days. . . With the effort of saving money most of foreign-based Azkals arrived just a day before a match. Why it happened? I understand the UAE football federations shouldered all the costs of these match including airfares and accomodation. It's only me but with this predicament it appears the players were "binabarat" by the management and PFF. Next time if we are invited for friendlies we should lay our card that we should be in the host city at least 5 days or a week before a match or a tournament.

Are we ready for Challenge Cup next year? Are we in position to win it? By the manner we were massacred by UAE today we need to go back to drawing board. And of course practice, practice, practice. . .

well, in fairness to Sacapano he did all he can, he really exert effort beyond his skill set. I'm just disapppointed he didn't get enough support from our back four.

This is the expected result, folks. This is not a game where you can point fingers to any one thing and say ... oh yes, because of x we lost the game. UAE is many classes above the Azkals at the moment and I'm surprised they took up this friendly. Having Schrock and Etheridge wouldn't have mattered. This is like a PBA team playing a provincial college basketball team. So let's get over this expected result, I hope the players and coaches learned something from this, and that eyes are focused on the next game -- India. Now that is a game where the expectations are higher.

the game last night is one of the worst games i've seen the azkals have played so far. i know that getting a win is very hard for us but we should at least give them some trouble. but the game last night showed the huge disparity between the two nation, now i understand why the PFF refused to play a friendly against Hungary. watching that kind of game is like a sore in the eye, we also failed to threat their defense. we don't have a SHOT ON TARGET. i think Porteria's weak attempt was our only shot on goal. Indonesia even made the Holland defense work together, and to think that Indonesia rank below us and Holland is one of the top nations in football

In this game we have seen our need of a young CB,gier and guirado.doesnt have the speed to match the strikers of UAE. We need.to find a young CB overseas to play in.our team,as we develope our young ones here.

again, Aguinaldo is our better option for our CB. he is only 18, it's his advantage of being a young footballer if he's being exposed in international matches.

I hope we cud fix matches against lower ranked teams to be able play our young defenders like Amani and barbaso. One thing ive noticed with our team is for almost 3 yrs.since the vietnam win,we still dont have a style of play. Just like our ASEAN counterparts.

Let the young guns handle this, especially young players at the back plus deyto. Of all our goals for the past friendlies Ive never seen set pieces w/c MW designed. Im not wishing for short passing and cohesion just like spain but wheres the system and style of play our german coach has been instilling?

This result was expected. No real big deal as UAE is just so many class ahead of us. At least we saw something we can really aspire to be.
One of the defenders was directly or very close to being directly responsible for 2 of the 4 goals if you can watch a replay. One was a miss tackle and the other was from a bad pass. Sucks, he's my favorite player...
