Follow the updates on Skyscraper City Thread and this FB Page: www.facebook.com/pages/Polysports-Complex-Butuan-City-Philippines/492448464161696Also on Butuan City FB.
According to TV Patrol Caraga report dated Nov 20, if weather cooperates, the Phase 1 will be completed on January 2014 and the 2nd phase will commence. According also to report, the football bleachers capacity is 3500. But there is phase 2 where in they might encircle the whole oval to expand the capacity. (not sure about this since I can't understand Cebuano language since I'm from Luzon. TV Patrol Caraga is in Cebuano language). Watch the Nov 20 episode of it to be sure of this. BTW, they are constructing this since they are bidding to host the Palarong Pambansa 2015

The concern now is its actual capacity upon completion. I believe this will be just good for local competitions, not International matches, due to the seating capacity and the size of the entire complex. Quite similar to the Davao del Norte Sports Complex in Tagum.
