The Azkals should realize that the North Korean government is only showing them what they what them to see, which is why foreign visitors are not allowed to go anywhere they want, they are strictly "escorted" to stay within specific areas only ... Of course, that goes without saying. If they had strayed somewhere they were not supposed to, they would have been arrested. Yeah, but it's not just about going to a restricted secret military bases, there is a lot of regulation on which areas of the city to go, interacting with the locals, etc. What can tourists expect when visiting North Korea?

FIFA should be sanctioning host countries that won't be covering the games live. THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL GAME, FOR F*CK'S SAKE! What's the point in hosting if you're not going to cover anyway? If North Korea insists on no coverage, then FIFA should sanction their national football team from joining the world cup. This was definitely expected, but I can't still hide my disappointment. We're not playing some amateur competition here, we're playing for a world cup qualifier.
F*ck Kim Jong Un.

It is even worst for the North Koreans since they have to endure this kind of situation their entire life. But we are just there to play a game. There is no need to cause a diplomatic incident by breaking their laws. They should just focus on just trying to get a point in this game. I just wished they would allow a live broadcast of this game though.

Oh I'm expecting another cooking show with this one. The refs are from their ally nation and no TV coverage.
Officials Referee: Ma NING (CHN) Assistant Referee 1: Huo WEIMING (CHN) Assistant Referee 2: Ma JI (CHN) Fourth Official: Wang ZHE (CHN)
Expect the unexpected

With North Korea being North Korea, they cannot afford to lose or Draw in their home pitch. With no TV coverage and with now having all the Referees and officials being Chinese, their closes ally, then I expect another "Home Cooking" that will probably be WORST than what happened to Gilas in the just concluded FIBA Asia Cup ...

Are they the only ones N. Korea would allow? Two from any of the ASEAN countries surely could've been done.

@cedelfpt Oct 4 No TV coverage on the PH-North Korea match on Thursday. But we @inquirersports will try our best to keep u updated from Kim Il Sung stadium What the?! Been waiting for this game for a long time and yet there is no TV coverage?! Screw you Korea DPR! Why is fifa allowing this kind of situation? Is it not required to have a tv coverage for this kind of match? Because the rights to broadcast the match rests in the hands of the home side. If they only want it broadcast to North Korea, they can. FIFA's rules allow it. The AFC YouTube site SHOULD have the game live. They usually do.
