Well SEA certainly takes the prize for mismanagment. Last week, the Thailand Olympic U-23 team was disqualified from the Olympic qualifying tournament inspite of advancing to the next round for fielding ineligible players. Brunei has already been suspended by FIFA for some time, apparently because of government interference. Now the Indonesian football federation's political struggles will also result in them being suspended by FIFA. If Martinez were still President of the PFF, we would be part of this group of misfits but fortunately, he was removed from office and we are now finally able to concentrate in moving the program along and improving the state of football in the country without the constant internecine political struggles which threatened to derail it.

I wonder if the AFF U-23 championships in July which is being held in Indonesia and is being participated in by the Philippines, will now be cancelled because of this ban. s-leaguefootball.blogspot.com/2011/05/will-asean-under-23-championship-be.htmlTuesday, May 24, 2011 Will ASEAN Under-23 championship be abandoned? With PSSI (Indonesia FA) set to be banned by FIFA within the coming days, it will not be able to host any FIFA-sanctioned events other than it own domestic league. While every media report indicate Indonesia World Cup qualifiers against Turkmenistan in July to be the first one to see Indonesia missed out on, there is the ASEAN Under-23 championship before that which is even more tricky. Indonesia is the ASEAN Under-23 championship host yet they will be banned from hosting any football event so how can the competition go ahead? Have the Courts Young Lions pulled out of the RHB Singapore Cup for nothing. It looked likely and one word, suay, (Bad luck for those who do not know) as now they have missed out on both ends due to no fault of their.

With Indonesia out of contention, will Turkmenistan advance in the qualifiers? if that is, they're very lucky . SEAG organizers will think again, what possible venue they'll play aside from Indonesia? is SEAG football game is under FIFA? OT but related: same thing here, SBP and BAP war and FIBA suspended us last year(?) we're not able to participate FIBA-sanctioned games, in China, I think
