Offense wise, the absence of Mark Hartmann, Guirado, and now Phil, spell trouble, since I'm not really a big fan of Wolf being our sole hope for that spot. (Not even discussing Araneta again) I think Beloya could do better. Im sorry but im late in any news....what happen to the Younghusband brothers???are they kept for the asean cup???and also guirado what happen???

a question guys, i thought this coming cup has two different venue? one from bacolod and the other one in rizal, why is it this later advertisement is stated only in the rizal. can anyone me an idea why??? The venue was originally slated for Panaad Stadium in Bacolod, since there was already a plan to renovate Rizal Memorial during that time, following the PSC-PFF deal. However, in late August it was later found out there were some legal issues over the deal due to legal provisions put over by the PSC as per PSC Act of 1992. Therefore renovation was put on hold and the organizers then moved the venue to Rizal presumably due to costs that would entail should it be held in Panaad. thanks...sayang indi makapanood live ang mga negrense at karatig probinsya....next time around.....

of all the meely happened all the wrong passes happen.... bakit pinoy pa rin ang kukutyain....christiaens had many errors, carli defense was too high...schrock chip passes majority are strong...well mulder bulldose those lao's instaed of showing we are a intelligent football player.....sabio also shows how failure his head was.....well gier atleast he scored one.....pero bakit pinoy pa rin araneta pa eh nagkabuhay nga nung pilit nya inatake ang kalaban though medyo.....somebody reichel..or whatever his name was...if it that kind of game he show he better in the bench........kung si caligdong magdribble ballhog ang tawag pero walang may nagcomment kay christians na ganun...o kay schrock though yes his way too good but ballhog is ballhog pero anu wala.... note: im not a fan of araneta...but what im rooting for is the development of the locals.....reading some of the comments make me really laugh....wala na atang papuntahan ang mga locals nyan....

Dito ka nag kakamali kasi lahat ng kinukutya namin sa team ay Pilipino. But you are still dwelling on that old idea of Filipino and "not so Filipino", if that's your case, then that's your problem. For most of us here, when we them wearing the kit, we consider them Filipinos same as we do to the guy who sells me ballot every night at my corner. You have to be on that mindset in order for you to understand us. This is an old topic, please move on. We are tired of explaining things to bigots. (Admin, pardon for this OT rant)
About the Laos game. Ive said this before and I will say it again. The team is really different if PYH is not playing. We just dont know where the goal will come from.
im not referring to you...but if you feel that you are guilty then it is youre problem also.... though i agree to your point after many line-up experiments, NT needs the younghusband brother if we aim to finish high......no combination is yet to fill the spot of the two.....

cjeagle...again the topic of fil-foriegn players has been resolve a long time ago...i accepted before the reasoning of the other member but i had a reason on my own but that does not bigotry.....maybe just read the other and you will see it.......i will not go there again...and beside im just pointing out differently what im referring a local base players thats all..... @shanks.....thats the problem people want to see an individual brilliance, expecting too much on every game.....if a person creates a single mistake it will be wildfire on the comments everywhere unluckily it belong always to locals......even if it is 1, 2 or 3 mistakes it will be scrutinized, but the question why an individual person why not look at the team as a whole. For example as what Sir Wiking had commented, he looked the whole perspective as a team....he points out every player even etheridge....and I agree that the mistake of him cause us the second goal are there other people look that way, i guess not...see the difference.......what about caligdong even he made a goal by evading the two defenders from the last game still he was been scrutinized......thats what im talking about....i guess poor me really....im not a fan of araneta i even questioned myself and my collegue why is he still there, but in comparison to reichel (sorry i dont know the spelling) why he was not even questioned, he had a 2 to 3 bad passes, 2 to 3 times that he had a good look for a goal instead he fumbles (the best attempt he did was he evades a defender and try a shot but the ball out on top right corner of the post at a goalies standpoint), he was even disposses once or twice but no one or sort of scrutinized him. Also most people didnt see how stupid the NT looked when they join when the fight broke out...i know its the team spirit but they forget they had an incoming tournament. locotes...sorry i dont have a facebook in my office....maybe next time...can you me the idea what it is.

airing frustrations to a person within a team is a personal attack......it is an 11 man team in a 90 minute game.....errors happen every play....like yesterday as what ive said if were talking about errors there where a lot of errors but no notice except for a local who played and do you think it is good in general? I dont want to argue with the authenticity of our fil-foriegn players what im referring to is the local......I am a person that dont agree for the foreign base filipinos as a legit pinoy so lets not go there.....again im referring to local..... ballhog is a person who hugs the ball.....it that what you mean how can caligdong be a ballhog if he can only dribble for short time...he is a winger, an attacking winger.winger has the right to dribble to find or look a sweet spot to pass or to strike a goal....james also do that but no one scrutinized it, shrock dribbles also from one end to other no dare to question it, christians was caught many times but few question him. sometimes you have to educate fans not just accepting there comment or they can say whatever they want...those players are also people..... I really don't understand what you are trying to say. You contradicted yourself so many times. So you are a person who doesn't believe in the legitimacy of Fil Foreigners. Wow. Can explain why you believe they are fake Filipinos? I'll modify my first statement....and again I will not go there it is been long time argument regarding the fil-foreign thing.......

On the plus side, I thought we were doing okay before the punch on Misagh. I'm slowly liking Christaens in the backline. He has the pace to eventually be very good at that spot. I've always thought that Laos was one of the most underrated teams in SEA. They can be dangerous but are also inconsistent. I thought they were keeping a good pace against us. It was a good match. Until of course we fell victim to bad calls and non-calls. On to the downfall, between the two teams the Azkals were the full time (and big time, in some cases) professionals. They should've acted that way and kept on playing the game. Our biggest loss is not in the final score, but on the sportsman front. agree...i was afriad when i saw etheridge charging to the frontline, even sabio when he argued the fallen player for a second time.....and thanks they were spared on the red card...they are vital to the campaign this coming cup.........lesson learn as much as possible keep the composure as low as possible if they want a rugged give them a rugged game minus heavy foul that can cause a card. atleast they learn a hard way...

Bawi bawi na lang Mexico nga tinalo ang Brazil eh Gold medal match pa yun at nabigyan ng criticism's that time ni Neymar because of poor decisions sa pagbabad ng bola sakanya. Sa criticism's normal na yun, kagaya ko nagsasabi ako ng mga napansin sa game, weaknesses, strengths, bad plays, what if's.. etc.. Sorry guys kung may foul na sakin. Anyways.. May ups and downs sa world of Futbol at dito sa palagay ko bagay na bagay ang salitang "Kontra Pelo" na tinatamasa ng NT againts Laos. yan ang tunay na criticism kung magconstruct eh yung completo.....at kontra pelo talaga pinas sa laos akala ko matatapos na indi pa pala.....next time around we azkal will, must defeat them....

It's true that Caligdong is ballhog. He is ballhog because not only does he dribble too much, he also doesn't like to share the ball in front of goal. So many times he could have made the extra pass, instead makes a poor decision and takes a shot. I can't blame people if they think Chieffy is a glory hunter. If It's the development of local football is what you are aiming for, then start a football team. That way you can teach young players all the basics and good habits. Don't blame fans from airing their frustrations. That will not really do anything to help the local players. And also they are all Pinoys. Not just Araneta, and Chiefy. airing frustrations to a person within a team is a personal attack......it is an 11 man team in a 90 minute game.....errors happen every game....like yesterday as what ive said if were talking about errors there where a lot of errors in each of the players but no one notice it except for a locasl (with some exemption ) who played. wenden96, Naniniwala naman ako na may pagkakamali rin ang ating mga foreign-born players during that match. But yes, being someone trying hard to overcome bias as I am one of the higher authorities of this forum, nakakalito nga talaga kung bakit sobra-sobra ang pangungutya sa mga local players, say Caligdong and Araneta. It's kind of like a double-edged sword kung kailangan din nating kutyain ang iba whose skill levels are way higher. I believe it's high time to get over with and publish our doubts over everyone in the team. But remember, Admin and I, and every mod here are very particular when discussions turn into ad hominems (in layman's term, personal attacks), so although I encourage all of you of criticizing them, we need to establish manners here. We members aren't just the only ones reading this forum. I apologize to that matter....i just dont get it atleast this forum is light compare to others...again sorry ill take comments in a professional manner.....

The opponents are playing very laos-y and their uniforms are laos-na. Seriously, 1st half not impressive. Chieffy lost the ball at least 3 times, but maybe he is having difficulty finding someone to pass to ie others not getting downfield fast enough? tough to tell with this coverage. Schrock continues to impress, but no one getting on the end - and many of the through balls a bit heavy... many of the players lost possesion also why comment on the midfileds and wolf that can not cope up with the attack....

well for araneta, he is too lazy there are 2 through ball to him but he didn't run to the ball. and he let it go outside the pitch. fatigue is one reason why we lose but the coaching staff must realized it..used substitution every game to full extent. they travel 3 countries in a span of 1 week. overall i see some positives on this game at lb,christieans did a tremendous job so as at rb carli schrock was awesome so as mulders.. reichelt needs some more experience to be effective in right wing.. sabio and gier both are steady at cb but SLOW of all the meely happened all the wrong passes happen....bakit pinoy pa rin ang kukutyain....christiaens had many errors, carli defense was too high...schrock chip passes majority are strong...well mulder bulldose those lao's instaed of showing we are a intelligent football player.....sabio also shows how failure his head was.....well gier atleast he scored one.....pero bakit pinoy pa rin araneta pa eh nagkabuhay nga nung pilit nya inatake ang kalaban though medyo.....somebody reichel..or whatever his name was...if it that kind of game he show he better in the bench........kung si caligdong magdribble ballhog ang tawag pero walang may nagcomment kay christians na ganun...o kay schrock though yes his way too good but ballhog is ballhog pero anu wala.....ngayon nagmukhang tanga ang phl team nagpauto laban sa lao at kumagat sa laro ng lao.....tapos ang sweet pa ng comment ng iba (unlike those who it different) "ok lang yan" better luck next time" bawi sa sunod" ...i dont get it..... note: im not a fan of araneta...but what im rooting for is the development of the locals.....reading some of the comments make me really laugh....wala na atang papuntahan ang mga locals nyan....

You know what's not funny? It's that you seem to keep on insinuating that people here unfairly pick on our local-based players. For the most part, we are level-headed posters here. As I've explained earlier, the local players are now in the minority within the team, and as such they are bound to be put under the microscope, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Please do not assume that most of us here worship the foreign based lads blindly. That being said, I watched the game and observed that Phil had a tendency to whine instead of helping back on defence when we lost the ball. That is why I use the word "SOME" of the commentators, that means not all.....but base on what I read here and other blogs, I can say YES, there are "SOME" people worship the foreigns...even you dont admit it....filipinos tends to love people especially those who are with foreign bloods...lets accept this reality....... and besides you are not the one im referring to....but to "SOME" people.... okey lets get back to the post-game analysis.........I agree with your analysis with Phil....especially if he didnt score a goal....his frustrated last night...also with wolf.....I dont know what happen to them....sisiw sana 6-0....cge lang ganyan ang laro....

you know whats funny guys....comparing the indonesia vs phl games, some of the comments here are hesitant to comment if it is our foreign base players got a mistake......but in the other page where theres a local playing...katatakot-takot na insulto ang sinusulat...ballhog, bopols, indi na bagay maglaro...etc.....really for me it is funny..........bakit walang may magcomment na ganun anu.......
on the other hand quite disappointing on the result.......as the commentator says they play like the guam instead of playing what they are ask to do......off na naman si idol wolf....tsk3.......well a win is a win.......congrats to azkals and to the matao for standing there ground on the second half....
I thought Weiss will use some of the bench (especially loacals) for another set of experimental line-up...well it didnt happen.....and it is up to coach decision....
